Still as busy and food is still as good. One will not be able to resist the delights of bak kut teh here.

β β β β β BKT package at its best. The broth's aroma and taste is not too heavy. Just suits my liking. Service is hasty as you ordering and bill payment is hasty. Parking is ample at 8.30am on Sundays.

β β β β β Best Bak Kut Teh! Was so excited to eat I forgot to take a picture first. Picture is after we took 2 bowls worth of the soup.
Hope they're also open for dinner time.

β β β β β Got invited to lunch at this bak kut teh restaurant by a friend. The soup is delicious. It is so good that the kiddo at my table had 3 bowls of rice with soup.
If you are a fan of internal organs, the pork kidney (if I'm not mistaken) cooked with a dash of Chinese wine is worth trying too.

Not the clear broth, you can see some powder mixture in your soup.
However pricey a bit
Portion is small even for a female.
Not to say for a man or growing up kids.
Of course understand and willing to pay for, however is not a must to eat BKT as there are really a lot tasty , price to pay for shops.
The YouTiao there is nice , we had 4 bowls!
Environment wise, overall clean.
But toilet can be improved.

β β β β β Bak Kut Teh is a dish of passion for most Malaysians. You find one that you like and stick with the place. You then of course slag off every other BKT restaurant as being not as good. ?
Iβd like to think that Iβm objective enough to say that I have tasted better BKT in Klang than that found in Ah Sang but for me, it is a combination of their offering being to my personal liking and itβs of comparatively high standard to others in the PJ area (Klang is just too far a journey for most days). Familiarity also means that I am greeted with a warm smile by everyone working thereβ¦ thatβs always a big plus too.
Overall the soup base at Ah Sang has a good balance of herbs and sweetness from the stock. Meats are of decent quality and they have a multitude of complementary options to go with the pork.
Been coming here for years and donβt think anything is about to change. Excellent BKT.
