Best Restaurant in Malaysia

F	Fauziah Ahmad on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Location wise is just outside of Taaras hotel. The price is very reasonable as compare to Taaras. We tried a few dishes from this restaurant and we concluded that not everything is tasty. We didn't try everything in the menu but I can tell you what not to order.

The grilled fish tasted a bit off, prolly not well cooked. It's an OK place.. clean with a mini mart . still pricier than your regular local restaurants.

The grilled fish was ok but lacked flavour (and for westerners, salt). Best part were the juices, those were actually amazing, especially the Mango juice. It is 50m from the Taaras resort you might be tempted to escape the also bland resort food, but it probably won't be worth it, except for the price.

(1) Nasi goreng kampung seafood is well cooked and very nice (2) Nasi goreng ayam is just a common fried rice but nice (3) Sotong celup tepung is tasty and looks fresh I like the 'teh o halia ice', its very tasty, and can feel the ginger taste Overall, the food is very nice, RM49 for 3 meals and 2 drinks are very reasonable with the location, just rite outside Taaras' gate.

A	Atissa Low on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We find this restaurant nearby our hotel and can warmly recommended. The restaurant himself is nothing special but the food is very tasty and local. Made with care and proud. The team are very friendly and helpful. They have also a small market if you want coke or ships to take back to the hotel. The prices are very local in comparison with the hotel who will take 5 times more for the same dish but poorer in flavours. Try the steamed baramundy fish with ginger and lemon or the squids with black pepper or even the fried vegetables or spinach with garlic or oysters sauce and you will come for more.
R	Rajesh on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very humble place and team with exceptional food. People who find the food to be a let down in Taaras resort can come and dine here or tapau. All seafood is exceptionally fresh and the preparations are tasty. This place is located right at the entrance of the resort in Redang. If you are planning to pack the food, do remember to order as early as possible as the good takes about an hour to prepare for takeaways. Dine in is much much faster. Our favorite is the crispy fried calamari / butter prawns and Spicy grilled fish.
