β β β β β The place is cooling and quiet. It is wonderful to be surrounded by nature.
But.
The road going in is narrow. Some section of the road is at risk of collapsing.
The riverside is not very clean. Many visitor do not take back their rubbish.
Used diapers, empty plastic cups, picnic mat, facemasks to name a few kind of litters seen littering the area...

β β β β β Great place. Got parking spaces. Suitable for bringing your kids. Water is a little bit shallow but there's some parts that is deep. Weekend is usually swarmed with people. My advice is come early in the morning or late in the evening around 4-5 pm as people already leaving and giving you a little bit privacy if that's what you wanted. Cool water. There's a camping site but for now it is closed due to safety reason. Nice view but be advised as the road is sloppy and hill climbing.

β β β β β The road to access the place is narrow at a number of locations so drive carefully and safely. The place is beautiful but the people who visit aren't as nice. Many families tend to light up campfires to cook and the smoke is terrible. Not to mention the mess and heaps of rubbish that is left behind. It is no longer the same beautiful place I visited many over a decade ago but still nice.

β β β β β The water is refreshing and it has a lagoon for a good swim. It has facilities like toilet and gazebo. But there are so many trash lying around and a lot of flies which made the experience uncomfortable. Please keep our river clean and be more responsible.

β β β β β the water was so cool. quite slippery ,so pls take precaution for your kiddy. the environment so nice. No charges there. got washroom for those who wants to clean up afterwards.
