β β β β β My recent trip using Air Link to ZhangJia Jie was a bad experience. The local guide in China was not well train and the food given to us was photocopy in every meal. Dishes are same in lunch and dinner. 6-7 Vegetable and 1 meat.
We are not told for our next day tour itinerary. In one tour was a repeat just to see 1 part of Zhang Jia Jie for 15 minutes and we spend almost 4 hours waiting for transport.
Airlink need to improve their services if we decide to use them in the near future

β β β β β Airlink your transportation service is very poor..Customer service is bad. We regret booking with you.. in fact i find its very RACIST.. you brief in chinese without being considerate... about other race. Your bus service from Penang to KL stopped midway just because some inconsiderate passenger asked the driver to stop to buy stuff. We wasted almost 40 min waiting for the inconsiderate retards come back!!!
Dont we have our own agendas? Why do we need to wait???
And there is one bunch of uneducated retards talking so loud in the bus.. fair enough i know you cant do much but you can provide specific seatings.. this people book the seatings and instructing other passengers to seat at different place.. what the heck!! Dont we pay...
If you cant hire people who can converse in english.. please dont sell your service to other races... totally BAD!!! Very disapointing and will not recommend you and stop anyone that i know to buy the package from you !!!! We boarded the bus at 1pm we are still about 78km away from destination...

β β β β β This is an extremely TERRIBLE tour agency. First off, the customer service is RACIST. My husband is half Chinese, but before answering any of our enquiries, the first remark being told to us is if he is an Indian then there will be a surcharge.
The reason is because (and I quote) "Indians do not understand Chinese culture and history, so they will not shop more as this is a tour with shopping stops. And also Indians will require more time to translate, waste more time from the tour guide." can somebody tell me what kind of reason is this??? My husband can speak perfect Chinese but his IC is Indian. So means what?? I'm a Chinese with Chinese name, but I don't understand Chinese culture and neither do I speak Mandarin because I'm banana. You might need to translate in English for me. So do I require surcharge????
And the customer service, everytime asked in English, replies are in Cantonese. Though I'm a fluent Cantonese speaker, her reluctance to be professional and her lack of ability to address other languages due to her racism, really ticks me off. Speaks volumes of this company and their service!
Also FYI their price and package does Not stand out from the rest of the tour companies (i.e. Others are more reasonable and value for money), shopping is COMPULSORY TO BUY, LOTS OF HIDDEN COSTS, and they DON'T LEAD THEIR OWN TOUR but rely on 3rd party. Plus CUSTOMER SERVICE IS TERRIBLE! Please don't use this agency, you deserve a better holiday than this.

β β β β β EXTREMELY bad customer experience especially for first time customer of Airlink. We booked our tour from previous MATTA Fair. Bad customer service, firstly don't pick up phone, secondly do not call back customer, even though already pass my contact number to the person who picks up the phone. I would expect your staff to return my call and to be MORE RESPONSIBLE with their actions. From my experience, normally tour being cancelled/postpone, customer will be given notice in advance or agent will provide alternative solutions but for Airlink you are not doing those plus you think by refunding money to customer will resolve everything??? Please put yourself into customer's shoes, we very disappointed with Airlink as we have already changed money, also bought clothes, preparing ourselves for holiday etc and looking forward for trip, and end up we were being told that the trip has been cancelled today. Our trip was scheduled on 29 March to Turkey, and gotten the replied from agent cancel today, 12 days before the trip. Refund to customer is not ACCEPTABLE AT ALL!!!! Note of advice, for those who engaged with AIRLINK as your tour agent, please think more than twice before you engage them, as this last minute cancellation may happen u tooo .???

β β β β β Just recently came back from Zhang Jia Jie. The trip is not bad but the food is not very good. Every meals almost the same (all vegetables and the fish is full of bones) except the second last two days(thai and korean cuisine food).
For the first few days of the trip, the China tour guide is very polite and explains very well in the historical culture. However, our trip does not include any shopping stop but the China tour guide keeps on promoting his own products and bring us to silverware shop as well as Xiang Xiu Shop (ζΉη»£η»εΊ). The price of products that the tour guide sold are few times expensive than the local market price. I feel that he try to defraud all of the tour members by persuading that his products have better quality.
The attitude of the tour guide is not very friendly after most of the tour members not buying anythings from his recommended shops, but to be sincerely the assistant tour guide(ε°η) and driver(θ°’εΈε
) provide good services. The time given to us to visit Huang Xin Walk Street is very short (1 hour only) and not enough time. Hopefully this can be improve.
Next time if I want to go Zhang Jia Jie again with Airlink Travel, I will choose the assistant tour guide (ε°η) to lead the tour.

β β β β β Very disappointed trip with Airlink travel to Shanghai Water Village and Ancient Town, poor communication and services from both tour leader and tour guide throughout the trip.
In the brochures stated "compulsory local product shop min 1 hour" but we are being asked to stay at least 2.5 to 3 hours for each shopping stop. The China tour guide mentioned we should follow his China itinerary which min 2.5 to 3 hours for each stop. I do not know where goes wrong and who is cheating us, but please be honest and transparent to your client if you want to have long term business relationship with us.
On the 2nd day, we are being asked to join another additional optional tour on top of the compulsory tour that fixed by the company, RMB450 to join the compulsory optional tour and RMB400 to join the additional optional tour. With this additional tour, the tour guide will help us to reduce the time spend in each shopping stop from 2. 5 to 3 hours to 1.5 to 2 hours depending on how much the group spend, if no body buying or the shop not meeting the target than the longer we need to stay, miserable....
In our invoice stated "Fare inclusive tipping for local guide and driver, but we were asked to pay tips to the driver with the amount of RMB40 per person and is compulsory. We don't mind to pay additional tips if the service is good but should not be under compulsory and wtih fix amount, plus the bus being arrange to fetch us is like our "Bus Kilang"
On top of the 6 compulsory shopping stop, everyday we have additional shopping stop inside the bus from the tour guide promoting his own products and price is much higher than the market price.
Overall, I feel very disappointed with this trip and this will be my first and last time follow Airlink Travel.

β β β β β First of all, check your travel details properly. The θ΄η©η« (compulsory local product) they stated on the details there was minimum 1 hour, yet there is a condition. You need to stay until someone has bought, if there is no one buying, you will need to wait around 2 hours. This causes that you only have 20 minutes to visit one place, and rush here and there. The local tour guide is not friendly, he will not explain much and just sleep in the bus. When reach the destination, he will just walk and do not care about the tourists' safety. When tourist asked him some questions, he will feel impatient and annoying to answer. Besides, the driver asked tourist to get money 5 RMB/per person and per day (which is unreasonable as you actually have the right to decide how much you want to give). For all these issues, Malaysia's tour guide doesn't have much experience to handle and causing the customers to struggle. If this is what I will get throughout the trip with airlink, I think this will be my last time and I will not suggest anyone to join china trip with airlink anymore. Do something to improve, thank you!
