β β β β β Food is quite good but the service is poor. After 1 hour of waiting then my food was served. The problem is, there's not that many customers but my food arrived late. Dirty, got many flies fly around me. Mentarang is very pricey, 1 kg is Rm 40. Overall review, go buy Mentarang yourself and cooked it by yourself.

β β β β β The owner is very friendly. He even offered us to park our car in his house area (the restaurant also in his house area). As this is our first time here and Mentarang-eating experience, he recommended the popular dishes. My husband and I order Mentarang bakar (grilled Mentarang), Mentarang celup tepung (fried Mentarang),asam pedas ikan sembilang and fried vegetables. All dishes were good and delicious. The service was fast too. I read some comments on the cleanliness. I just thought this restaurant or 'warung', the cleanliness is quite ok.

β β β β β Tasty Mentarang, nice cendawan goreng tepung (homemade tepung). All food that being ordered are nice. The place may not look as good as the other side of restaurant but inside area are clean especially the kitchen. Highly recommend to try and come again here.

β β β β β The food serve is good taste. Not so crowded. And u can feel it better, compare than crowded place or viral location . The price is reasonable. and the owner treat is very well. Good place to stop for Seafood. Off course the main dishes u have to take here is mentarang.

β β β β β I ordered some mentarang but since it was my first time eating it, I can't make any comparison or fair opinion on it. Therefore, I will refrain from making any comment about it. On the other hand, I am utterly disappointed with their barley drinks. The taste was so bland as if they're using plain water instead of boiled barley. Even the boiled barley grains they put in doesn't have any taste.

β β β β β An ordinary rural restaurant that sells local seafood meals. The owner was welcoming and friendly, he shared with us info on the famous local seafood - the mentarang. I was amazed of how a boy who worked there skillfullly prepared the grill set and grilled my mentarang. The food tasted OK. I like the way they made my mentarang - it was just perfect because it was not overcooked nor undercooked. So my mentarang was all sweet & juicy! 1/2 kilo of cooked mentarang was RM18. I ordered 1/2 kg grilled mentarang, 1/2 kg boiled mentarang, 1/2 kg razor clamps cooked in sweet sour sauce, 1 steamed seabass, 5 plates of rice, and 2 iced tea - I paid RM100. You do the math. Before I went back, I bought 1kg of fresh, raw mentarang at RM25kg. Overall it was a really pleasant experience ?

β β β β β A bit crowded on Saturday, so got to wait quite a bit even just for one dish of metarang bakar. Our first time. Taste so so, won't order again for a few months.
