★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Opened account for SDB, requirement 10k, when asked about procedures for closing, staff told no charges if account closed before due date. Opened account on Monday 30/11/2020 and closed today 04/12/2020 and Alliance Bank charged me one year rental fee, I asked them why not prorated? The answer was NO. Closing savings account also wrong info given by the staff at the counter. Told will deduct RM10, when they give me the refund telling different story that acc closed b4 3 months bank will deduct RM20. I felt this is really a scam where they are waiting for opportunities to charge their customers. If anyone is looking for SDB box in Ampang, you can go to Hong Leong bank Taman Putra.
