Best Restaurant in Malaysia

J	Jakob Ertner on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice barbecue which arrived quite fast. My daughter, however, ordered a simple noodle dish which apparently took one hour to prepare. The boss just didn’t care when she politely asked. Arrogance and neglience seem to be the mantras among the staff. Prices are low, however.

The services was bad and the toilet was so dirty and disgusting that we had to clean the toilet. The other problem is the water shortage. When we ask the villager and people who stay there, the water problem rarely happened. How come when we staying there, it happened and it really enraged me and my friend. When we complain about the toilet, there are some of the staff that don't even care and being rude. When you are dealing with other and doing business, please act like one, and if you cant respect other people when they are complaining, don't do business. Live by yourself and please dont ruin our vacation. The only thing that can make us happy is when we eat and doing snorkeling. The cafe was not so bad. But we were not eating there because our vacation mood already spoiled and we need to find another cafe and restaurant to change the mood.
T	TravelB4Settle on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Is probably the cheapest cafe in the island, but the conditions are also probably the worst. They don't clean the tables after being used and everything looks dirty and old. There is one girl serving that must be the owners daughter that is SUPER rude! The food is okay and the best thing is definitely the cheapest price and also the possibility to refill the water bottle! It's amazing to end with the stupid amount of plastic in the Island. They also have a mini market inside the coffee that have everything you may need and is one of the few markets in the island. They don't accept card.

Went there for dinner one of the nights and out of the large amount of menu items that they have they probably actually only have 50% of it available. Went there the very next day at 12pm noon around lunch time and was told by one of the shop's worker that everything is unavailable except for Roti items (Local Malaysian cuisine that is made with flatbread). Unfriendly staff that seems like you are bothering them everything we asked for something or try to ask about something. Will never recommend and will never come back again despite having decent deep fried calamari.

Sometimes they did not have all kinds of beverages, but that should be expected on a little island like perhentian. I went there everyday for breakfast, lunch and dinner and I was happy.
M	Marielle on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Would have given 5 stars but the service can be quite lazy and slow and some dishes should just be taken off the menu (More on that later)- it is an island though so maybe they’re just trying to give off some island vibes.. Anyways, HIGHLY recommend eating the local dishes (Curries), fried squid, fresh coconuts, & seafood bbq here (this happens every night around 7:30 PM) - it’s such a good deal. I got the lobster platter 2 nights in a row and it was always grilled to perfection. I would recommend STAYING AWAY from the salads (just some cabbage and maybe a tomato with mayo dressing), the burger (low quality meat with way too many random sauces), and the shrimp cocktail & fried prawns (they do not use fresh shrimp in these dishes, only in the bbq and the shrimps are tiny and gray - when the fried prawns arrived they were deep fried with the shell on?!? Doesn’t make sense). Overall great prices and good views. do not accept credit card. Cheap water in the store.
E	Erich Richter on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very nice food - freshly prepared and the special vegan mango curry was my personal favorite!! Also the staff was very welcoming and helped out to find a taxi boat for a little snorkeling trip. They even have a little shop where you can buy some water, soft drinks and other stuff you might need - so you don’t need to go to Long Beach for your groceries if you stay at coral beach.
