Beware of additional charges - if you don't eat pickles, send back the appetizer that they will place on your table when you sit down (it's a small plate of cucumber, carrots etc) because they will charge you RM 5 for it. To give them credit, they did not charge us for hand towels which we didn't use. Ice water is fair at RM 1.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had the NZ beef shabu with mala milk broth, barramundi fish and pork combo with herbal broth. We have to top up RM 3 for milk broth and RM 2.50 for herbal soup. The soups are average, not favorful like Hai Di Lao.
The foods portion is average size for an adult.
I read the reviews before I visited them, overall the service was OK, the staff served us was talking monotonous and walking like a thriller dancing.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Spicy milky soup is my recommended soup in Arashi shabu shabu restaurant. The price a bit expensive but consider reasonable. The ingredients and meat is quite fresh and the taste is great. The restaurant located at Gurney plaza and very convenient to get there. Definitely I will come again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Love their shabu shabu ! Great Service too! The soup is good, food is fresh, variety of choice. The pumpkin ramen is smooth. Variety of sauce for you to dip with your shabu shabu too. Overall very satisfying and will definitely come again for more

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Staff is attentive to assist us and intro the menu to us. Full of people so need to wait for a while to get the seats. We ordered two pax of the premium beef and black pork set which costs RM89.90 then can pick two soup broth and two noodles. Btw the two pax portion are really small so suitable for small eaters but not big eaters. This japanese shabu shabu restaurant is not authentic japanese shabu shabu since they don’t serve ponzu and goma sauce. As a local, I can accept the arashi special sauce since it’s taste really spicy. The meat quality is good but a bit pricey.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I like their Salmon head hotpot set, it goes well with many types of soup they offer. So far, I've tried with tom yam, miso soup, sichuan mala soup, mala soup with milk, and all are good. Also, we usually order a plate of gyoza as side dish. There's also selection of rice, pumpkin noodle or glass noodle that come with the set. Pumpkin noodle Yumm!

Able to refill for both soup and fruit tea.

Too bad.. my first visit, but the waiter didn’t remind us about the sauce counter.. though it taste good without the sauce but I think the waiter should inform the customers..
