★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Stesen Diraja Arau is one of the 3 KTM stations in the northern most state Perlis. Most of the students from Unimap, UiTM,Arau Polytechnic disembark/embark at here. Tourist going to Kuala Perlis ferry terminal to Langkawi also disembark here and available taxi service.
On 06/02/2021 during MCO (PKP) period, this station is quite empty & quiet, carpark normally quite full also almost empty.
It is also walking distance (about 500m) to the town centre where there are Cmart supermarket,KFC, Subway,Domino Pisa available.
Also possible to embarking train here to go to Bangkok, Thailand
At the border Padang Besar after clearing Immigration you can embark connection Thai train to Hatyai & finally Bangkok.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is definitely one of the Must-Go places for train manias. Very beautiful like a museum. There is safe parking lots enough for park-and-ride passengers. I love this train station very much!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A clean and comfortable station. Lots of parking available, including overnight paid parking. If you’re stingy, you can park at the bus terminal parking which is a walking distance away. The stairs to reach the station lobby has several levels so best to compete for the only elevator available if you’re an elderly, has difficulty walking or climbing stairs, or if you have a lots of baggage with you.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I love travel by ETS! It took about 7 hours from Seremban to Arau. I really enjoyed my experience even it was my 1st time and hopefully not my last. The food inside the train a bit expensive as expected but it was worth it coz it was delicious! I ordered nasi briyani ayam and chicken lasagna... one word to describe.. superb! Bravo to the management.. and last but not least the surroundings were so clean and neat. Tq for giving me a very nice experience ever.

Need to upgrade the cleanliness for the comfort of the passengers.
