I took one star away as their technician didn’t turn up and won’t pick up the phone?? But he did when I used another phone number: how disgusting is that!!!! Anyway they redeemed themselves when I complained and another guy called: and he fixed my problem ?

My last product of Hitachi. Had climb 6flight of steps just to get to CSD. Dah la kat guard house, guard tak tau cakap English. Kelam kabut. Definitely last Hitachi product for me.

I've purchased the washer less than a year and it was malfunctioned during MCO. I had contacted Tan Boon Ming (TBM) since May'20 during CMCO because it still under warranty. Several arrangement has been made but the Hitach's technician but never show up even after he called and made the appointment to come over. Always gv alot of unreasonable excuses. Really disappointed and wonder whether this message will be attended.

Was an smooth and fuss-free process dealing with the replacement parts team (purely through email). Required replacement parts for a fridge and sent an email over the weekend. Once it hit working hours on a weekday the process for enquiring about stock, ordering & payment, and delivery went smoothly and wrapped up within a couple of days. Super appreciative dealing with the team was a straightforward process with minimal back and forth required, no chasing needed, no misunderstandings as everything was clear and also instructions eg on receipt was professionally executed. Thank you for the excellent experience and services

I bought a Hitachi water pump in May 2021. Used for 5 months and it is dead. When I want to claim for warranty on 13/10/2021, I was told to bring the faulty unit into their HQ in Bangi to rectify it. There isn't any outdoor service for water-pump series. Hence, the Hitachi Malaysia Distributor is expecting the consumer to somehow dismantle the faulty unit themselves or some professional to do it. The cost of dismantle, reinstallation and traveling thru and flow will cost more than filling a claim with the distributor! Furthermore, 1 week is require to solve the issue. Isn't they should buffer units to cater all warranty support inquiries! A product that has a lifespan of 5 months, but giving 1 year general warranty and covered 5 years on motor. I doubt on the QC of its manufacturing! This is the worst after sales support I encountered! The overall process for customer experience is negative 100. To All consumers out there, please CONSIDER this EXTREMELY POOR after-sales-support before buying any Hitachi range of products!

Worst Service Provider, they have no authority over their so called agents which is the only way to buy their spare parts. Their agents do not notify the customers after the in-house checking if they have any of the spare parts available. They need one week to just check with HQ if there is spare parts, we are talking about spare parts for refrigerator. The perishables go bad by the time they even check on the availability.

Hitachi GLS has formed a joint venture with Arçelik, which owns 12 brands including Beko and Grundig, to restructure its non-Japan activities. Customers of Hitachi home appliances may experience some inconvenience as a result of the restructuring of its activities under this JV, which began in July 2021. I am also affected by this because I am having problems obtaining customer service from the provided hotline number and other contacts via emails or phone calls. I have to give just one star for the time being till it is resolved.

I send my air purifiers here for servicing. Do whatsapp them your product details and set an appointment time before visiting. Try planning at least a day ahead. Payment is made via online payment. You need to park on the kerb and deliver your product at the guard house where the paperwork will be signed.
