★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Located at Kg Pengkalan Nyireh Kg Raja besut. 45 minutes from kota bharu airport. Who ever need a room before to Perhentian island i think this is one of the best place to stay. Near main road. Got so many restaurant near. Room with AC. Big room clean toilet and everything is satisfied. You can also book a boat ticket or if you looking for chalet or room in perhentian island you can directly contact the owner of this homestay because they also have challet in Perhentian Island. Can stay here and bring families to Bukit keluang beach and everything. I am very satisfied with this homestay and will come here again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Compared to the rest of Malaysia 80 Ringit per night seems to be quite a lot for me, but the room was nice and clean, with air-con. The owners were super friendly and helpful. For 15 Ringit they brought me to the jetty to get to perhentian islands.
Which btw i do not really recommend. Everything is extremely overpriced and very low quality. Lots of theives (they even stole my swimming pants from the line in front of my bungalow/shack), so be very careful of your belongings. Some nice coral, but only if you are lucky and the visibility is good. Mid April 2018 is was often just around 5 meters.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very good for such low price. Honestly, I've been in a hotel far worse for a far higher price. Friendly and easy service. Clean room. But no hot shower. Inside-gate parking spot. Safe and calm. Great location. Near restaurants.
