★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Unique & Amazing place to visit.
This Hindu temple is the first & only glass temple in Malaysia. It is not just a temple, it is a cultural and artistic works. Beautiful, glistening and unique temple like no where in the world.
Temple is very well kept, clean and organized.
Priests and Assistants are friendly & helpful to visitors.
Please note that you need to be barefoot in the temple, and their is an entrance fee of RM10 for sightseeing visitors (local & foreigner).
The fees they collect & the donation given via the donation box goes to the upkeep of the temple whereas purchases of oil lamps, souvenirs and books goes to charitable activities by this temple.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful temple; but people managing it has made it a business. Not expensive though, but you should not charge.
E.g.
50 cents per basket to keep your shoes.
3 MYR for clicking photos inside ( I gave 10 but guy didn't had change, so asked me to donate the balance)
Before you leave same guy will be standing on the door to ask you BUY prasad (21 MYR, same story no change donate balance ?)
I gave him 50, maybe I went in their desperate times.

This temple has overcome several hurdles and finally has emerged as a very popular successful HINDU TEMPLE with the support of the rulers SULTAN.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of its oldest temples, the Arulmigu Sri Rajakaliamman Hindu Temple, was established in 1922. But it wasn’t until 1991 that temple’s new life began.
Sri Sinnathamby Sivasamy inherited the temple from his father and inspired by the shine of glass artwork he witnessed while riding in a tuk-tuk he decided to remake the humble temple in all glass.
The entire temple is covered in a mosaic of 300,000 multicolored pieces of glass, adorned with hundreds of thousands of glass beads, and contains statues of Gautama Buddha and Mother Teresa among others. Murals, done in glass, include some modern scenes of kindness and cross-faith love such such one of a Muslim and Christian helping a Hindu who got into a motorcycle crash.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Malaysia's most distinctive temple. Overall, the design is quite artistic. I assume The temple is Asia's first GLASS structure. The temple is a simple South Indian style structure . Inside the temple, the atmosphere is quite different. Being significantly more detailed and entirely covered in glass and glass mosaics. It's an inconvenience to get to the temple, especially if you're driving, but I thought it was worth it.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Today we visited Arulmigu Sri Rajakaliamman Glass Temple, the temple is one of the oldest temple in Malaysia and it is listed in the Malaysian Book of Records as the first and only glass temple in the nation on 12 May 2010. Today also the celebration of Chaitra Pournami, which is the Indian festival. We also get everyone a candle to pray for better health. ??

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Went there on 8 May at night around 8.30pm. No doubt it is a beautiful temple. We saw some Indians went for prayers and they told us it's free entrance when we are standing in front. After we taking off our shoes, there is a Indian guy suddenly approached us and insist to want us pay Rm10 per person to enter the temple. We are so confused, we told him the Indian auntie told us that it's FREE and we also asking around all the Indian enter for free without paying a single cents and say no need to pay. We felt little of being scammed so we left unhappily after blocking by the guy that want money from us at the entrance. Hope that the management can take some action against this kind of unfair discrimination treatment to each individual, it is so unfair that Chinese need to pay while Indian don't need...

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Being a Hindu I was excited to visit the Glass temple. Ample parking. There is a fees for photography inside the temple, even using mobile phone.
Love the interior of the temple.
Was really disappointed with lack of washroom.
We were directed to a temple next door forced to walk on slippery floor ( I was worried for my 70 yr old mom ) to a stinky washroom.
Most disappointing is to see the main temple entrance deity filled moss. I have never seen a temple in this condition.
