โ โ โ โ โ The stall is at the entrance of the morning wet market . You would find it mid way your shopping along Petaling Street . Portion size is good with chunks of sardine fish . Color looks like curry laksa , but taste is very much assam laksa . Plenty of seats available at this moment . Service is fast .

โ โ โ โ โ Assam laksa taste is just nice for me. The sourness and the sweetness is adjusted perfectly for my tastebud. Curry mee with pork skin, taufu pok, taugeh, char siew, fish cake. However, the broth is just so-so for me. Portion is generous enough (I takeaway one large Assam laksa and one large curry mee). Will visit again!

โ โ โ โ โ Many places were closed when we reach about 4pm. Happy that this is open. Nice thick curry and the taufoo pok soaked up all the goodness. Also went to nearby stall to buy fried chicken skin, dip it in curry soup. Yumz

A must try for Assam Laksa fans as this place has been around for a long time (since 1968). The last time I had this was more than 10 years ago... and the taste is still reminiscent of the old sour and sweet taste.. Yummy ?. I love Laksa with Lotsa of chunky sardine fish and if u like this too... Then You won't be dissapointed.
However, please be warned that this place is hot and not anything close to the kopitiam around there. Will definitely be on my list of places to visit when I am around this area.

โ โ โ โ โ Listed as top 5 world famous hawker food - this asam laksa noodle stall at Chinatown in Kuala Lumpur. It has been around for more than 40 years and it has maintained its quality with lots of fish, fresh chili, coriander, onion rings and shredded cucumber to go with. Topnotch quality with very thick and strong fish broth! Highly rated

โ โ โ โ โ Must try their Belacan chilli with their curry noodles. I personally prefer their curry noodles. The assam Laksa noodles (lai-fun) a bit chewy to my liking and maybe because it was on a Cny's day, the local mackerel aka kembong or Batang, were slightly down on fish freshness.

โ โ โ โ โ Bit disappointed when revisiting this stall. Used to be 2 old ladies chef who prep the whole. Thatโs was 6years ago I still recall thereโs a big chunk of fish meat, sour and spicy was just perfecto and delicious that time. But today I taste is just left sour thatโs all. Some ingredients is missing. And u can tell the broth is so much diff back then.
