★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great place for eating with family or friends. I like the most is the Gulai Tempoyak Ikan Patin. This food is awesome. The fish is so tender & moist... It's so delicious. The others food served also very good. Like deepfry squid with flour & the veggies also nice. The potion is so big. We're going there for 4 person, and try to order potion for 4 person. But the good brother (the waiter) advised us to order only for 3 person it's so enough for 5 person.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A lovely family run restaurant which specialises in steam fishes. Speciality includes steam patin tempoyak. A recipe created by the owner, Azmi himself. The fishes are from the fish farms in the surrounding rivers. The fish are therefore fresher but without the 'earthy' taste. Importantly, the tempoyak doesn't overwhelm the fish.
Price is also reasonable. Open for lunch and dinner.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Famous for the Ikan Patin with Tempoyak - a Durian based spicy sauce. The Durian taste is incredibly mild (I didn't think that was possible for Durian) and the fish was among the freshest / most tender I've ever had. Highly recommended!
Bok Choy and chili chicken dishes were fantastic. Slightly expensive by Kuala Lipis standards, super cheap by any other measure: large dinner for 5 was 90 Ringitts.
