Beef noodles - soup like normal clear broth type; bland. Beef a bit tough and my daughter commented tasted funny.
Claypot LSF - daughter said tasted so so only. She mentioned that she found another food stall near Canal Garden much better
Pan Mee - same comment as the LSF. My other daughter commented the same; the other stall tasted much better
Tea - funny taste. Tasted more like sweetened cincau water vs chrysanthemum tea.
While we were there, we were the only customers. Funny thing is the moment we are seated, they turned off the standfan. They had the AC on but it was stuffy and really warm inside. So at the end, I helped myself by turning back on the fan. My daughter commented first time she's eating in a AC restaurant and we were sweating.
Prices - quite steep considering they offer nothing out of the ordinary and next door is serving similar dishes at 20-30% cheaper.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Good lunch ... The bah kut teh soup was a bit bland and the meat was also a little chewy. The wantan noodles with the fried dumplings were great. The kopi was not as thick as I would like. Great menu for variety although the prices were a tad on the high side. Clean environment and the staff are friendly.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Food is good, cozy and comfort location. All good except the lady boss attitude. Would be great if she focus on kitchen and let her husband handle the customers. His patience level is way better than her,at least in handling customers inquiries

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A hidden stall beside staircase...feel like a school canteen....run by husband and wife....the wife busy with cooking so will bit hot tempered, really feel like my canteen aunty?
You need to self service for order, take the pen, paper and menu ? Main dish is mee hoon kueh, quite nice, with 3 flavors i.e. pumpkin, spanish and dragon fruit...natural colouring... also sell side dishes like yam cake, radish cake and dumplings...
Their soy milk taste natural and less sugar...their coffee also less sweeten...
Overall quite nice? will back and try other food

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Tried XO QQ Mee, tomato beef noodle, fried wonton, soy milk & taofufa. All very good, delicious, finished the tomato soup. Beef cooked tender and not dry. Would come back for more on the menu.
