โ โ โ โ โ Nice ambience and ideal place for dining. Food wise is just ok, nothing too fantastic and portion is so-so. Price is charged for fine dining. The pie tee doesn't meet my expectation if compared to true peranakan standard

โ โ โ โ โ From my personal experience, I will give 3 stars for the location and the environment (it is in a housing area, so is very quiet and peaceful. we are the only table at that moment). In term of decoration, i would say is nice, not really authentic Baba Nyonya deco.
Food taste vise I will give 2 stars. I tried a few Baba Nyonya restaurant before, I would say it is so-so only. it does not taste bad, just does give me special impression (maybe I haven't try their signature dish). Appetizer (Pai Tee) is a bit disappointed (a bit oily and presentation is a bit out). Dessert (cendol and pulut hitam) it is not bad.
PRICE. Sadly I will rate 1 star only. It is way too expensive. Honestly, me and my friends choose this place is because of the 5 Stars rating. Initially saw the price give to us prior we confirm our booking (FYI. need to pre-book 1 day before and choose the dishes from the menu they provide), we think very expensive, but in view of the high rating so we give it a try. I rate 1 star is because for the food portion is small. As I mention earlier, food taste is just so-so, nothing is outstanding. The dish in the menu is very simple and very common.
Personally, I wouldn't recommend this restaurant. All the aspect don't meet 5 Stars. Hope they can improve in the future to meet the 5 star rating.

โ โ โ โ โ Quaint place..nice hideout...but need to improve on the food quality...maybe can try more dishes ..the curries were too watery ..guess i have to try other dishes there

Food wise = okay, boleh makan lor. I like the cendul. Lolx. Too bad that they cannot let you order extra food.
Environment = okay, old but clean. Prefer modern style.

โ โ โ โ โ Went to his private kitchen with several Penangnites who are rather passionate about food and very good cook themselves and they award this place a 7 out of 10 for taste and authenticity of the food. To me, who doesnโt have a strong reference point of how each dishes should taste, they were 9 out of 10. All dishes were delicious. Highlights were Juhu char, Inchi Kabin, Pucuk Paku Kerabu and Cendol. You can either go with set menu or order from Ala Carte menu but prior reservation and ordering of food is a must since itโs a private kitchen. Restaurant is set in a Bangalow with a big compound with parking space for 4-5 cars in Taman Yarl. Just follow location map on Google Map as itโs accurate. Will certainly bring friends here in the future especially those from overseas.
