★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A structure made mainly from bamboo which can be found in one of the corner of Perdana Botanikal Garden in Kuala Lumpur.
I dropped by here because my daughter was having her kindergarten sports day.
This spot has canopies and field, so perfect for having small to medium scale event. You need to contact DBKL to organise event here.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Rather underwhelming after reading about it online. There are better ways of promoting bamboo as a building material e.g. actually constructing a bamboo-only structure. The little "towers" are fun for kids but for adults, watch your heads.

This is a slightly unusual, but welcome activity in a garden. It’s basically a children’s playhouse made of bamboo with multiple levels of decks and platforms. Many of the platforms are actually closed off because it’s deemed unsafe, although a few are open to climb up on. One of these platforms is where I sat peacefully for an hour, in the shade and hiding from the searing heat of the day. The playhouse is located on an island in the lake in the middle of Perdana Botanical Garden, close to the Heliconia Garden. The area is planted with various grass species, of which bamboo is a member.
Not an amazing thing, but the playhouse does provide nice views and shelter from the sun.
