From 3 feb, 2018, no direct KTM train from kl sentral to batu caves due to upgrading works, tourists have to take free shuttle bus from sentral to sentul station then change train to batu caves(2-way ticket fare 5rm). Long waiting time for train departure, single travel time nearly 1.5 hr. I visited on Sunday, sososo many people there, fair view.

Nice view on the top. But you can get VERY tired climbing the stairs especially on a hot day. There is a strange cave nearby which would cost you 5 ringgits to enter. Inside was really nothing special. I just entered the wrong cave and thought it was Batu Caves and first. Please be sure you go to the right one since Batu Caves has no entrance fee!

Very convenient to visit Batu Caves Temple from here. It takes a few minutes’ walking. Train fare is also very cheap and reasonable which is 2.5 MYR per person from Kuala Lumpur to Batu Caves. Excellent!

Near by station to Batu caves Temple. This station is the last station of this line. It take about 10 minutes from here to temple. 40 minutes journey from KL Sentral station. There are a lot of bus services and taxi services from here to anywhere. Train are not over crowded.

This is a nearby station for Batu Caves. It’s terminal station so if a train were staying you can get in and from here we will get direct trains to the city. The station is big and cool. The place is clean and maintained well. The railway station was opened on August 2010.The station was from 2010 the northern terminus for the KTM Komuter's Batu Caves-Port Klang Route until December 2015 when the Seremban Line routing was changed to terminate at this station instead of Rawang.

This place is so perfect for those who want to experience how harmony Malaysia is. You can meet Hindu people there praying, smiling, and doing any ritual activities. This is tourists’ favorite spot, don’t ever try to miss this place if it’s the first time you visit Kuala Lumpur. You can enter or climb the stairs for FREE! It was nice to feed the doves and meet people from around the world.

This is a nearby station for Batu Caves. It’s terminal station so if a train were staying you can get in and wait in the car, haha. When I tried to buy a coin to return for KL central, all ticket machine were out of order. So I had to take in line to buy it at the counter. But no problem. I had a time for next departure. About 1 train every one hr. You can find a way to Batu caves easily because every body heads for same way! There are no waiting room. Just seats by the track. Enjoy!!

Right at the doorstep of Batu Caves so convenience is a plus point. However, as is the case with KTM trains, waiting time is quite ridiculous, with 1 hour intervals during certain periods.
