I've been to Boat noodles Sogo JB and totally different here in mahkota parade. I haven't read the review before. If I do I really wouldn't wanna go there. Totally agreed with previous reviews. Thats all I can say. Cold soup, hard glass noodles, what a waste in tasting pathumthani.

Portion are so small and pitiful that I wonder what took them so long to prepare. A set of 12 bowls took them about 1hr15min?? Really?? Even better, the level of attentiveness given by the crew. All of them seems busy having meeting in front of the counter and gets annoyed whenever some customer call for assistance. I'm sure as hell won't be returning anytime in the future.

Staff are slow. Ordered at 3pm sat until 4pm plus, the boat noodles are not done serving yet. I saw some customers slower than us getting their noodles. Just looking at how slow the noodle guy prepares the boat noodle gets on my nerves! The traditional boat noodles are fast and efficient, turn around is very fast as well. If you see this place is full, it's not because the food is nice, it's because the staff working here is incredibly slow!!! Dear management, if you wish to survive, you'll have to change your staff.

Came with empty stomach and with huuge ambition, to finish at least 10 bowls. Unfortunately, being seated at a table that was not properly cleaned for about 15 minutes, not given menu to look at. Asked for menu, and again being ignored. Cannot tahan lapar walk out and went to another restaurant and spent good money on good food with pleasant service. Not recommended if you are hungry. If you are willing to wait, even if the shop is not fully seated and doesnt seemed busy and shorthanded and has 5 -6 people working, by all means go.

The very first time I have boat noodle with me although Penang has the franchises as well but taste really good. There are two choices that you can pick either beef or chicken and it’s a halal restaurant.

Visited the Boat Noodle in Mahkota Parade after some shopping here. The overall ambiance is excellent, pleasant and welcoming. Plenty of seating available as well. Staff is attentive, but the language barrier can be an issue (all the workers are either from Bangladesh or Nepal). I ordered a few of the sweet and spicy variants of the boat noodles including the must have fried chicken skin which makes the noodle taste better (it's sinful though), Thai garlic chicken wings and the iced tea. Food took about 20 minutes to arrive, considering there are only 1 other occupied table, it was too long. The issue I had was the chicken wings. I ordered the Thai garlic chicken wings and I got the chicken wings without the "crunchy garlic" as promised in the menu card (refer the pictures). I asked back the worker and he just shrugged me off and said that is the garlic chicken wings. And I asked where's the "crunchy garlic" and he just replied it's there. It took me some time to look for the so called "crunchy garlic" and to my dismay, could not find it. The boat noodles provided a multiple flavour profile of the famous Thai boat noodles you can get in the streets there. But wished there was much more, the amount was minute for the price paid. Not worth it. The iced tea was exorbitant, RM9.30 for a cup. It was a choking experience indeed. A bit pricier from the usual, but wished the service and food quality can improve.
