★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Pastries are baked in house. Only managed to try their croissant, which is quite buttery and nice. Better than that infamous French pastry place in Bangsar. Now, I don't need to go all the way from Cyberjaya to Subang or KL to get good quality pastries and bread. I can get them here in Puchong already!

They have started on pastry line too, tempted to try their Pain Au Choc and Croissant. Can't wait to receive my delivery this Friday!

Ever since moving out of Puchong in 2006, I hardly step into this area unless I have work to do in this notorious part which is famous for its heavy traffic. The memory of having to get out of Puchong before 7am and passed Sunway toll to avoid being stuck in the infamous traffic jam still haunt me.
But here I am, back in Puchong again.. and my, the whole area has evolved so much to some extent I couldn’t recognise some of the routes due to the development going on.
Boink Bakery is new-kid-on-the-block bakery opened in the relatively new 2 Rio Office Park in Bandar Puteri. I decided to drop by after finishing my work nearby to check it out.
The congratulatory bouquet of flowers are still placed in front of both entrance (dual frontage), they adopt open kitchen concept (separated by a glass) so you can watch the crew with their baking chores. Few high tables and chairs in the bakery to sit and enjoy their ciabatta, focaccia, croissant, sourdough or even toast while sipping coffee.
Yes! I like how the coffee tastes like - black and white - it put smile on my face. As I am not that hungry yet, I didn’t order anything although the Nutella cheesecake (I have weakness for chocolate or hazelnut spread) caught my attention.
The young team is still fine tuning everything including training the new staffs on how to serve customers.
Time is definitely a telling factor but for now, not many people know about this bakery-cum-cafe and judging from my personal observation, it will catch up in popularity soon!
