Historical museum. All galleries is closed for renovation. Outdoor site (candi) is open. Most visitors came to bath in the nearby river. Water is cold and soothing in this hot weather. There is surau and toilet facilities available.

We were really looking forward to this but came away disappointed. They Gallery / Museum was closed and they could not tell us when it would be reopened again. They didn't even have a map of the place to tell us where to go so we had to wander around. We were expecting more candis but only saw a few and without a map we had no idea if we were missing anything. Highly disappointing given the historical significance of this place. Such a shame. It could have been so much better in good hands.

This is a historical site where you can see an indoor gallery and also outdoor archaeological site. A good place for gaining historical knowledge. There is also a waterfall where you can chill out with your family.

Very pleasant surroundings, upgrading works in progress. Hopefully will add more charm to the place. Maintenance can be improved. Excellent for kids to learn Malaysian history

The indian exhibits were closed for renovations- being told by staff. The trade museum was open and is well curated. Ample parking. Will visit again

It’s very nice and peaceful here. It’s free and well maintained. The Museum is very informative and very focus on the topic. Interesting. Maybe can have a shop selling high quality souvenirs to boost popularity. Negative point: they used the leaf blower instead of the the rake to pile up the leaf. This really disturb the nature. There are not so many leaf but they are 3 people doing it and a few more sitting under the shade.

Historic place and very valuable to the Malaysian. Admission is free. Visitors can picnic and bath in the nearby river but under their own responsibility. No guards on weekends. Clean and provided parking for visitors. No food and souvenir shops are available.

A remnant and reminder of the wonder of that was Ancient Kedah, an evidence to testify that Kedah was one of the oldest and still surviving kingdom and state in the Peninsular. The place has two galleries (which is currently closed for renovation probably till march 2022). There are temple sites (candi) all over the slope of the mountain. It is very nice place with all the trees and plants, very breezy and windy almost all the time. Suggestion, try come early or late afternoon during the dry/hot season, it can get really hot and sunny during the noon.
