Great place to get back to nature. Cool, chilling. Slight challenge with the constant drizzle, but everything else is decent. Watch out for leeches, they're abundant here. Might want to wear high socks, the thick kind, since leech can go through thin socks.

Even after MCO, less people being here. Entrance fee is RM2 per car. The water is clean and cold. Nice place for picnic. However, the toilet is worst. Slow water from pipe. You have to use bucket and take the water from the river.

Would have been better if a layout map of the area is provided

At this moment, the water level in this picnic area is very low due to the absence of rain. However, the place is still filled with many visitors together with their families. For those of who plan to visit in the near future, it is advisable to postpone your activities there because the water level is too low and not suitable for swimming even for bathing.

This place could be better but still there's irresponsible people that throw plastic cover and other trash. Natural environment feel and calm. Not too crowded on Sunday.

I was born in Yan 1955. This place was only about 400 m from my house. When I was growing up I and my siblings used to go to this place for picnics. We loved this place. About 10+ years ago the first 'chalet' was built within the vicinity of this place. Later more chalets were built and people started to come to this place for picnics and other passive recreational activities. Crowds brought more crowds. More chalets were built. My question is where do the chalets discharge their sewerage ? ALL CHALETS DISCHARGE THEIR WASTEWATER AND RAW SEWAGE INTO THE STREAM. MAJLIS DAERAH YAN HAS NO CAPACITY TO APPROVE OR NOT TO APPROVE ANY APPLICATION TO CONSTRUCT ANY BUILDING. As a person born and raised in Yan I welcome any development which will create additional incomes to the people of Yan but I don't think I welcome pollution. Personally I think the recent flooding was a blessing because almost all chalets were destroyed and I hope MAJLIS DAERAH YAN WILL BE MORE RESPONSIVE TO THE NEEDS TO PREVENT POLLUTION.

Family place. A lot of people with small children having their picnic here. There is a hanging bridge which is nice. Also a few chalet setups there.

Free entrance. Free toilet. Clean and well maintained by MPSPK. Use wisely. If u need more space, go further upstream..less people. But make sure "garbage in, garbage out"..No body will pick up your garbage.
