★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The location and space is very modest but clean. My family and I always come here when we visit johor. The laksa johor is fantastic ; rich complex broth, good noodles and condiments. Another favourite is their Laksam - a kelantan laksa with white broth , sambal belacan and soft rolled noodles. What makes the food exceptional is the restraint in salt, sweetness and spicing, that let's the true taste of the ingredients show true .

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Passing through Johor and decided to try this place based on a recommendation to try the famous Johor Laksa and this place definitely has a superb tasting Johor Laksa! Other items we tried were also very good. Definitely a good spot and very cheap prices!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Authentic malay food, wide assortment of kuih, i absolutely love the ayam masak asam pedas. The best bit, prices are a surprisingly reasonable.The place feels like an old timers lepak joint, my favourite place for nasi campur.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I would suggest ordering the Laksa Johor or the Laksam, it’s what bumbu asli is known for. Both dishes are delicious. Based on a fish gravy, you can tell that the laksam and laksa are made with care. The flavors are subtle and bright. The laksam, with the steamed rice rolls, and the sprinkling of bunga kantan is brilliant. If you are expecting heavy handed taste or huge portions, you are best to look elsewhere. But if you are interested in something authentic and sincerely made, I highly suggest you try bumbu asli.
