They start selling at 7pm. I would say it's the best Oh Cien in town. What makes their Oh Cien special is their sambal hae bee (chili dried shrimp). It gives the dish a umami taste. Be prepared for a long wait as it's very popular among the locals and tourists. Parking is a challenge. Best is to go with another person sitting in the car, just in case your car is blocking the traffic. You can pre-order 1 day in advance, by going there to place your order. They do not take phone orders. You can opt for more or less spicy. I always go with extra spicy bcos I like the extra chili dried shrimp. They come in 2 sizes. RM13 for large, RM9 for small. Always ask for extra chili sauce as it goes very well with the Oh Cien. I like to squeeze an extra lime to give it a kick and also take away the greasiness.

Food is great but be prepared to wait over an hour even if you arrive early (7PM or earlier).

I would have given it more stars if it weren't for the extremely long wait. In total I had to wait slightly over an hour just for my takeaway. They serve people dining in as well as takeaway is available but parking along the area was scarce and when I was queuing the police came and gave illegally parked cars summons. Whilst the fried oysters is freshly cooked there were some parts which I didn't like. Because the owner has to make a large batch each time in order to meet orders, the batches are so large that they get soggy and overly oily. The entire plate was all soggy and oily which wasn't to my liking. Personally I think it's over-hyped and the long wait probably contributed to my displeasure.

Heard a lot about this place and so purposely dropped by early at 7pm to be first customer. Still have to wait 30 min before getting the food..oh sorry you have to get the food yourself, they do not deliver to your table. Most importantly is how does the food taste like? I would say it is way way overhypped and me and my wife were struggling to finish the portion. You can hardly find the oysters and basically it tastes just like you are eating fried eggs. The fried Or chien is not fragant and don't have the wok hei taste. I am really really disappointed with this place and won't be coming again.

Unfortunately, I didn't get to eat Or Chien here as I always wanted. I heard the Wan Tan Need aunty said that the Or Chien uncle go surgery and resting since Jun MCO. So, I hope he is alright. Nevertheless, no regret also coz I bought Wan Tan Mee. The Melaka Wan Tan Mee is the best, anytime beats KL/PJ Wan Tan Mee, hands down big time!!

No longer the same Oyster omelette is stir fried in a hurry due to long queue. Have lumps of potato starch that is half cooked. Using chopped scallions instead of corianders. Price Small RM9 Big RM13 I can only give 2.5 stars only
