★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A hidden gem in Butterworth! Or also known as Bagan. A good initiative to make this place as a tourist attraction. Not crowded on daytime and livelier at night with lights on.
There are plenty of other things to do nearby or places to eat. For halal options there are Restoran Nasi Kandar Jamal Mohammad, Restoran Seafood Bagan. For non halal there are a lot of Chinese and Indian restaurants.
Places of interest nearby, the newly installed container art painting near the field. If you venture further back, look for Thomas Powell art painting. Sadly the paint has worn off. There is old wet market and very busy in the morning. Colorful Indian temple and nice to visit. If you go towards Penang Port there is beautiful floating masjid and worth to visit.
Lastly your pit stop is R&R Bagan Ajam. Enjoy the view of Penang island at Pantai Bersih.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Really lovely, well constructed ‘art area’. Interesting back streets, nice, well done art. Not as playful or political as the art in George Town. And in much better condition here in Butterworth. Some really special, and the hanging ‘balloons’ really added to it. A nice way to lazy away 30-60 mins. Worth exploring the side streets also.
Great explanation of the history of the area - British /Siam; and the importance of the river and boats. Nice!
Some restaurants nearby (good - from the smell!). We went to Bee See Heong (fabulous).

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful murals that are spread across a few streets. Fun for an hour or so. However, as others have mentioned, there is not much else to do around this area so it is not worth a visit for just this place.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice work done to a back alley. Many nice pieces of wall mural done depicting the early years of Butterworth.
Good thing all the art work are closed together so you dont have to travel far to see them all.
Lane are quite secluded so be careful of your surroundings.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful street art murals that depicts the life of locals here. Very talented. Unfortunately some paint is fading off. Hope the town council will preserve and upkeep this place.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ All areas of mural is within walking distance. Snap plenty of pictures and videos, beautiful arts on back doors’ neighbourhood. Container arts at the Dewan Dato’ Badawi are also beautiful. Spend some times around to check out nice murals in Butterworth.
Although some paintings are rundowns of colours. Nice Tourism spot in that town.
