★ ★ ★ ★ ★ When I travel to Hatyai I want to try to ride the train in this country to the destination Padang Besar Station. This is very fun besides cheap, this train also uses natural ac hahaha...highly recommended for travelers who want to try land and sea routes from hatyai to st.padang besar, butterworth and penang. From butterworth to the journey to penang will not be felt because it only takes about 30 minutes. while on the ship you just stand while enjoying the ocean.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Tho this is a unique n historical icon for Penang, unless u hv the time to kill n want to feel n enjoy having a ride in the ferry, don't use it. The service is DAMM slow, got to wait for hours just to get into the ferry n u got to pay extra compare to going on the bridge. Waste of time if ur driving

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Convenient and inexpensive way to travel to Penang, although beware the driver puts you in the wrong place.
We ended up in the car side of the ferry, fortunately the ferry staff were very helpful and allowed us to board from the wrong area and walk towards the passenger terminal area from the vehicle entry side.
