Overall okayish place with some decent ice cream. We had the very berry croffle. Yet, absolutely no-go is to advertise it as "generous" amount of berries, and only to serve two sliced strawberries a long with some ice cream and a dry piece of croissant. For that price below expectations.. The salted egg ice cream was good though.

"Merry Me" has variety of ice cream taste for you to try. The ice cream is good and would like to try for other in future. But the price itself is not cheap, imagine a single scoop with just top up another 2 to 3 ringgit you can get it with Haagen-Dazs. The environment there is very nice, not crowded at all and you can enjoy little peaceful of music inside the cafe. It has designated car park but you need to place the parking coupon otherwise you will earn yourself a summon.

I had the Tau Fu Hua (soya beancurd) and it taste exactly just like it! The Kaya toast ice-cream has real bread in it, really interesting and it taste great.

Fancy dessert totally worth the price. It is a cafe attached to accomodation building named Reunion. The place is clean and tidy.

Should try their Gula melaka ice cream. Awesome! I personally feel that Premium fusion ice a bit pricey (RM 18), nothing much on the dessert. A macaron, biscuit and jelly ball on the top of it with whipping cream and ice corn crunch at the bottom. If you love to take photos then you can plan to go for it.

Merry Me @ Lebuh Victoria shares its space with the Reunion Heritage House Hotel and No 5 Bistro. It makes for an interesting concept where these 3 business share common ground. Because of this, Merry Me is able to serve hot food, which they normally do not. The hot food is from No 5 bistro which is ordered by Merry Me and sent from No 5 Bistro next door. Ordered the gula melaka & salted egg cookies and cream ice-cream from Merry Me. The gula melaka ice-cream was very smooth and yummy to eat. Had a pronounced gula melaka flavour which paired perfectly with the richness of the cream. The salted egg cookies and cream ice-cream was extremely surprising. Strong salted egg yolk flavour with the sweetness of cookies and cream. A complex flavour with the perfect balance of sweet and salty. A must try ??? Got the truffle fries and Unagi Kabayaki from No 5 Bistro. Fries were crisp and was pretty standard. The truffle mayo was good. Strong funky flavours that went perfect with the fries. The truffle flavour was strong and it tasted generous. The Unagi Kabayaki was interesting. Deep fried seasoned Unagi served on fries and drizzled with mayo. The description wrote that it had dehydrated wasabi powder and citrus zest but I found it hard to believe as it did not taste as described. Nevertheless, the dish was tasty and would pair very well with beer. The Unagi was the softest Unagi that I have eaten. Melted in my mouth. Not sure if that is how it should be, but an interesting experience. Overall, it was a great visit as it was one of quieter Merry Me's out there as it is not situated in a mall. Comfy seating with a vintage ambiance due to the Reunion Heritage Hotel's concept. Hope to see more of this concepts around Penang. Hotel seemed like a nice place to stay. Connected to a bar and an ice-cream stall, whats more to ask?

Great ambience and delicious selections of ice creams available! Mint chocolate chip and dark chocolate is a must try. The place is compact thus not recommended for big groups. But overall a must try dessert place in the island.

Unique local ice cream with nice ambiance. Tried both the gula melaka & tau sar piah (TSP) flavor (as the salted cookies & cream was sold out ?) Personally find the gula melaka too sweet for my liking and it’s lacking the fragrance . TSP was ... wow . It’s really like eating TSP in its frozen state. My bro really likes TSP so basically he finished it off . I wish they serve the ice cream in a bowl rather than paper cup
