Life in Pink.... If Edith Piaf knew that her song would name a Patisserie in Penang, she couldn't be more proud... La Vie En Rose honours her by serving some of the best and finest French Pastries and Dessert... I would let my pictures do the talking, but rest assured, knowing and appreciating my French Pastries and Desserts NO one would walk out and leave this place unsatisfied... Merci La Vie En Rose...

Bonjour! For a touch of that Parisian taste in Georgetown, Penang, head to LaVieEnRose. Indulge yourself in the famous original Croissant that is oh so flaky, glazed crisp on the outside and buttery soft in the inside. The almond version is sweeter with fine powdered sugar and fillings. Since they ran out of beignet, I ordered a tarte au citron which has a cleverly balanced sweetness and zest. Reminds me of summer in France lol. Tiramisu was light and pleasant even without rum. It’s recommended to preorder as the pastries ran out very quickly. The throng of customers attest to this reputable patisserie with it’s friendliest owners and staff. We hope it’s (possible) new relocation can accommodate more loyal fans ?? Highly recommended ?????

Gorgeous luscious decadent bakes..my first thought when stepping in was to carpet bombed the menu. Greedy me! Settled for a dark chocolate coated Madeleine & brought loads of croissant, almond croissant & beignet of cos. Love it, quaint cafe & that's the beauty & thrills of cafe run in Penang.

A cute bright pinky shop with great French pastries that every pastry lover should pay it a visit. It is located on the corner of Fish Lane and Malay Street. The cafe layout may be so-so but it is comfortable for a casual tea break. I love their tarte au citron meringuee very much! It is very appetizing! Their croissants are amazing as well. The portion is just nice and enough to satisfy us. We definitely enjoyed ourselves here very much!

Lovely environment. Clean cafe/toilet. Price affordable. Friendly and welcoming staffs. The Almond croissant and The Lemon Dessert (sorry can’t remember the actual name) taste yummylicious. Beverages okay. Order before seating. They accept only cash/ewallet. Overall ??

Been wanting to try this place and finally managed the time today. The entrance looks inviting. Once in the door, you are greeted by a display of their exquisite looking pastries. Tried 7 of their selection. And the taste is just yummy! The Tarte au Citron is superb. The exotic tart is choc full of mango cubes. The almond croissant is flaky. In fact its all good! The upstairs sitting room is a bit warm though at noon. In summary, definitely well worth the visit.

Nice place to hangout. Not a typical cafe. They have the best croissants in town. Tried their almond croissant, crispy and taste soo nice! The lemon meringue also not bad. Recommended place!
