the mentai rice i had was SUPER GOOD and my bf preferred the udon over the cha soba! i gave 4 stars cause the staff outside said that we didn’t pick up her calls but then we realized she was the one that missed out our name on the list and called someone else ? indoor staff service was great tho!

Despite the higher than average pricing they charge, their food is superb and quality. Suitable for those who like Japanese and Taiwanese fusion food. They accept all kind of apps payment which is very convenient. Nice ambient environment with enough of local staffs there ready to serve you.

Omg, this shop surprised me with their delicious appetizers, main dish and snack, also their price. I would like to visit again for their food. However, arrive early before the shop business for first batch or come later after an hour of business hour. No pre booking. Speedy serving and people in and out fast. Not a place for chit chat, you won't feel want to stay longer when seeing long queue out there.

Visited on the 10 October 2021, 2pax. Ordered Oden, Braised Pork Rice, Creamy Potato Salmon and Salt Pepper Corn. This restaurant serves Japanese - Taiwanese fusion dishes. Creamy potato salmon was nice, very creamy so it gets jelak after awhile. It has adequate amount of salmon so can share if you want to try more food. Braised Pork Rice was normal. Wanted pork and chicken but chicken was sold out, so do come early if you don't want to miss out any. Salt Pepper Corn is their signature dish, but honestly it tasted like mamee powder to me. Oden was the spotlight of the meal. It comes with a claypot and soup was so flavourful. Portion: Normal Service: Some waiters were friendly, there's one quite rude. Price: Moderate Ambience: nice interior , soft music, this place abiding to the current SOP. Overall rating: I'll give a 4/5. Could've gotten 5 stars if it wasn't that guy being rude af. Worth trying their food. ?

Interesting Japanese-Taiwanese dining concept located at an industrial area along old klang road. Started with some sides/appetizers. The salt pepper corn (C04) was fragrant and such a delight to eat. Yamatatsu Fried Chicken (C05) had a good crispy coat and was well seasoned. Saba Fish (C02) came in 2 nicely grilled thick pieces with a good char on the skin. Sweet potato Sticks (C07) were light and crunchy with a thin dusting of plum powder. Mains we had Undecided (A09) - combo of shredded chicken and very tender melt in the mouth braised pork pieces over scallion oil rice. A really tasty dish but the pork was way too fatty. Shredded Chicken rice (A02) was yums, should have just gone for that. They have a nice selection of teas to go with your meal, which helped with digestion and to cut the grease. Ample parking during weekends. Restaurant does not take reservation, go early or be prepared to que during peak hours.

Food might look good. But taste wise is below average. Their fried chicken is juicy, but skin is not crunchy at all. Just soggy. For Shrimp tempura, I can only taste baking powder ONLY. But not shrimp. Went there quite early, so wait time is ok for me.

Their speed on service food and quality of food is top notch. Fast, good and nice. Signature chicken shredded chicken rice and salt and pepper corn is a must to order. If you see long queue, just wait for a while, your turn should be fast, cause turnover is fast.

The restaurant seem to have acquired some good reputation, as you can clearly see this being reflected on the queue before its business hours. The moment you entered the premise, you'll sure noticed the vintage Japanese atmosphere from the posters and bar area's design. Food on the other side was on fusion model, infused with elements from both Taiwanese and Japanese cuisine, highlighted by the mild flavors that goes well with freshness oozing from all ingredients. Only regret from my visit was to skip on the salt pepper corn and will probably be my motivation for next visit to this joint.
