It’s a really good rockclimbing gym, they have a big space and lots of routes to take, however RM 51 for a one day pass (including equipments) is way too expensive for Malaysians. Price is probably okay for professional climbers (its cheaper if you sign up for a one year pass membership) but probably not so much for casual climbers / friends who are finding for some activities to do just for the day. Rope is a bit smelly (probably need to follow up on the cleaning) but the whole place was quite nice in general (as a rockclimbing gym) and staff are nice!

Expect to spend some time sorting out indemnity forms online AS WELL AS offline, especially if you have a couple of kids and belayers with you. Apart from that, staff are extremely well-trained and professional. Kiddos had fun attempting the 17 courses with hardly a break in between for the 2-hour session we opted for.

I went there during the March Singapore School Holidays on a weekday. We had the whole place to ourselves, except on 2 occasions, where they have kids try out sessions but it doesn’t bother us as they use the Novice Walls. You’ll have to look for the escalator on Level 5 that leads to the movie theatres at Level 7. That’s where Camp 5 is. We were warmly welcome by the counter staff. Registration was quick and easy. And in less than 10mins, we became a member and off we go into the climbing area. They have changing rooms with toilet and shower facilities. Lockers are also provided free of charge in the changing rooms, but you’ll have to bring your own locks. They don’t have a Pro-Shop yet that sells gears and necessities so make sure you’ve brought all you need. They do have rentals which is affordable. Please see attached photos. They do sell basic items like chalks, chalk balls, balms and rock climbing books at the counter. The climbing gym is divided into 3 areas, Novice on the upper floor with floor anchored belays. They also have a couple of auto-belay walls on the 15 meter walls. Just below the Novice Walls are the bouldering area which could cater for everyone from beginner to advance. And another area for the ‘Pros’. Top rope, lead wall, all on 15 metres wall and above with various degrees of overhang. They use QR codes on the walls for you to refer on the grade of each route on the selected anchor numbers. So good to have your mobile phone with you. The place is generally huge, clean and well maintained. Adequately air conditioned with it’s own cafe. There is of course a myriad of food options from Japanese, Malaysian, Chinese, Western, Food Court, etc, all around Paradigm Mall. Overall a wonderful experience!

Camp 5 is a huge place. Really nice space with various walls ready for beginners and proficient wall climbers. There are training classes conducted by instructors. A fantastic in-door activity to build up confidence and strength.

We celebrated my 8 year old son's birthday here. 10 children aged 7 to 11 enjoyed 1.5 hours of climbing first and then snacks and cake. All very well organised, in time, good kids' entertainment. Great place for indoor activities! Very helpful and friendly staff, nice service! Special thanks to Syasya for organizing the event!
