The dipping sauce they serve with si hum is nice. Taufu Rojak is very nice too. Rm5 for the smallest portion but it's quite a lot. Love the rojak sauce. Very yummy.

The boss is very friendly. Food is incredibly good. If you like shell based food, that's the place to go. Lately, they have added many stuffs into the menu to satisfy everyone's taste bud. And actually... Capitol is the stall inside. It used to be called Tong Bee, which is the founder's name. Since a few years ago, there were two separate stalls selling the same thing. Probably the only different thing they can offer is the dipping sauce. I like the inside stall one better.

DONT ever go to eat at this place unless you want to have food poisoning like I and my friends do. The siham and other sea foods are not well cooked and basically raw. Inside the seafood there are stll many sand not being cleaned and feel very dirty. My friend and I order the siham and snail and end up with heavy food poisoning ( 1 weeks still goes on ). AGAIN, DONT GO TO EAT AT HERE UNLESS YOU ARE WILLING TO RISK YOUR STOMACH AND YOUR HEALTH

Make a visit to Melaka sure to drop by for dinner. We had Tomyam seafood, prawns, lala, cockles, taufu and rojak. Dipping sauce is nice and spicy. Rojak also very nice and can order according to your taste (chili spice) ....

It is often refered to Melacca siham, longkang siham when ask around or google search. To clarify the scenario, it is a backlane street, along the street there are 2 stalls selling almost the same variety of seafood. One is Tong Bee and the other one is Capitol. Look closely, you will noticed their stall name. Hope this can help to clear the doubt, especially for non local. The one we always go for is Capitol and from "the wall of fame", it's not hard to tell why major TV show has been interviewing them as they are good and authentic. They has been selling siham(fresh cockles) for many decades (since 1967) and now it is run by the 2nd generation - a young good looking and very friendly guy of 30s of age. For first timer, just order a small plate of siham with normal cook and go with their special chili sauce with peanuts. If you can't take the normal one, ask for welldone, and if you feel adventureous go for raw(which is similar to steak, raw is about 30% cooked). Capitol is one of the best place serving siham, it's fresh and the boss knows and very confidence in preparing them. If you always wanted to try siham for the first time, this is the place! We love siham very much, but we would NOT risk our stomach for other stalls. There are many small dishes as well, squid with kangkong, clams, fried beancurd and lately added tomyam claypot. All are tasty and small portion for 2 of us to share. We will always order their barbecue squid as the last dish, it is very tasty(if you like squid) and we would love to chew and chew, it is simply delicious! Thumbs up to the family running the business, we had brought our kids there and hope they can continue to serve good food for generations. Please click like if you found this useful, hope others can find it useful too.

The only thing that is nice is their Rojak Tauhu. The rest like siham n siput sedut really nothing special; just boiled n serve with dipping sauce n portion is pathetic. Their sotong kangkung is also nothing to shout about n make sure finish it fast else there'll be a lot of water which makes the entire dish murky.
