First attempt, good experience. Seafood was fresh. Only few in menu but good enough. The low table and chairs was so unique and signature. Environment was better than my expectations. Limited seats so may not be easy when u visit in group.

There are two stalls over there, seafood is the same. Only the dipping sauce is different.

Back here again for my favorite lala with their chilli sauce ! There's also one auntie selling oyster omelette which was quite good too, but one thing is service not as good as Capitol

Below average experience, taste was just normal like any other hawker stall. RM5 for 14pcs of cockles. If you expecting service with a smile, you will get service from a longkang. The staff does not seem motivated to work at all. Non cheerful and sound sad and being forced to work.

Another tourist must visit "restaurant" in Melaka. Located at the small street, you will be amaze how crowded it has become. Totally open air seating and you only count on natural ventilation, so be prepared to sweat! There are 2 stalls at the lorong, and we chose the authentic first stall. Food price is affordable if you do on to shell fish. Quality is on par. Service is good and friendly. The magic lies in the chili....

This store started since 1974 , I can’t tell the difference between Capital Seafood so I can’t compare. But from my own taste and perspective the prawn and shell is nice but not used to the gravy. The fried oysters is NOT NICE and it’s super dry. Location is slightly better more airy.

After trying both stalls, I think it's fair to say 东美is by far a better pick for street seafood snack. Service was quick, waiting time far shorter, food portion is more generous, the dipping sauce wins hand down. Although selection not as many but they did fantastic for what's on menu. No fancy advert needed. Don't come here expecting 5 star hotel seafood presentation, but come here to endulge the nostalgic tastes and feel of enjoying quick fresh seafood while siting on bench and stools in the small alley.
