β β β β β This is a coffee shops locals patronize especially after "marketing", which locals address is grocery shopping. You must try the "kopi peng" or iced coffee here. The best!!

β β β β β Cathay and Wah Meng actually share the hawkers even though they are technically separate shops.
Koay Teow Thng is very good. Soup is flavourful and the fishballs have good texture (QQ) and you can taste the fish.
Char Koay Teow standard is on par with good stalls across Penang. Chili is mild, and this one comes with lap cheong.
No photo of the Hokkien Mee but it's also good. Not the most intense prawn flavour but the soup is still strong bodied.
Prices range from RM4.50 to 6, so are on the lower range.

β β β β β This is a new and big coffee shop, located at the corner lot of the shop houses besides the stream. With relatively large number of stalls, you should be able to get your favorite hawker food here. One stall that attracts my attention is η΄
