★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Crowded and busy coffeeshop, stuffy and hot environment due to low roof. Most food here above average in taste and priced fairly. Try to get seat first before ordering. Coffee is OK here. Try braised duck flat noodle, recommended for soft duck meat and flavorful soup.

Kuih Chiap, Claypot noodles, CKT and Nasi kandar are some of the locals fav.
The coffee is excellent.
Be cautious on the Nasi Kandar, 3 person helper will give different pricing.

Loh mee was delicious. RM4 was value for money. With pork slices, chicken leg, egg etc. 4 stars.
Seafood noodle was fantastic. RM5.50 with 2 prawn, fishballs, pork slices and extra egg. Value for money. 4 stars
Koayteow tng (noodle) also delicious. With generous minced pork, fishball and vege only RM4.50 per serving. 4 stars
Best from this coffee shop was black coffee with the dessert stall (RM1/pcs) outside of the coffeeshop. Dip into coffee, these kuih dessert cannot be described using words. WOW. 5 stars
Koay chap was delicious. Slight above average. RM7 per serving a but pricey seeing little ingredients. But the taste of the soup justify the price. 4 stars
Indian nasi kandar was really amazing. Just eating rice alone also can finish the whole plate of rice as the curry mixture was perfectly done. Out of this world. WOW. 5 stars

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This cafe serves the most authentic coffee in penang. They are most famous for their kopi beng at affordable prices, even worth more than the ones sold at starbucks! Hwoever, do expect a large crowd on Sunday morning as there are way too many breakfast choices and due to its prime location at the ayer itam morning market. You might have trouble finding places to park here as most people either came here by foot or by motor vehicle. The hot plate noodles could be one of the best in penang as so far its very hard to find a decent authentic sizzling hot plate noodle in penang.
