Mee goreng was excellent as expected. Rojak was tasty too. Best to try at odds hours like we usually do, otherwise if you visit during peak hours you will have to wait quite a while as even getting a table was quite a challenge. Parking might be bit of a problem if you visit during peak hours.

Nothing to shout about the mee/noodles. Everything is mediocre. The taste, the kuih, the spice level. 3/5 Not bad but not great. What u should try is the coffee. Tried both black and with milk. Very kaw. 4.5/5

2x comes to take away, but denied services. It doesn't make any sense as if they said for dine in can wait to be serve 20-40 mins this morning (10.30am), then why for take away need to wait until noon time (12.30pm) to cater. I am okay to wait for the order lead time. Please explain properly to your customer, if your business is understaffed or not able to cater due to your SOP, or not enough packaging material due to no supplier open yet, thus need to wait till noon. It is understandable that most of business operators would be understaffed or not enough supplies to provide business during festive period. Business information need to be cleared. This review is not affected by the food itself. Just for the poor customer service provided by the working staff just now. Once the service is better, then I will come back to change the review. Coming all the way back from KL to try, first time customer, which is upset with the service provided. Thank you.

Very solid mee goreng. Not too sweet, not too spicy. Generous portion. Iโ€™d say may be even better than bangkok lane. What I was really surprised was how soft and smooth the tofu in the noodles was, unlike some places that use hard tofu. The fritters were nice and crunchy as well. Not too long wait dining in and lots of people having takeaway. RM6 a plate

This mee goreng was my regular lunch when I was working in ipoh, in 1990. Just found out they have moved but no new address given. You cannot miss the big yellow sign across the old place, between Public Bank and Ritz Hotel. This new shop is spacious and clean. The taste is still the same and waiting time too. You need to wait at least 45mins. The fried noodle was wrapped like a cone in banana leaf. Smelled so good. Its wet enough and delicious. Don't forget to squeeze in the lime. By 5pm, all sold out.
