The restaurant serves nice and yummy hawkers food and beverages. You can get tong Sui and yummy cakes and nyonya kuihs too. Highly recommended See See Heng authentic Teochew Ho Hee, Kai See Go Fun, Wong Sifu fruits and pork ribs and knuckles wanton mee and noodles. The fried noodles also quite good.

The night stall of hor hee fun, tong sui and old fashioned cakes are good reasons to come for it. Based on quality of Cempedak muffin and cheese cake, all other cakes should worth the effort. The hor hee fun in clear soup is just as good. I would go for this than wait in line in more "popular" spots. Traditional tong sui is at Rm2.50 per bowl is sumptuous and have option of no/less sugar.

Hotel is very old school.. price is quite expensive (u can get modern budget hotel with the same price).. but room is quite large, suitable for group travellers or family.. they have their own parking for customer but normally occupied br restaurant customers.. ??.. The receiption of the hotel is one old uncle, very polite and friendly.. hotel need upgrade, but u can stay and support especially in this pandemic era..

Came here for hor hee, unfortunately it’s not operating, just my luck. Discover new land! Other than usual coffee tea series, this kopitiam is selling traditional dessert (tong-sui) and the best part is, you can choose the sugar level of your dessert, and thus ordered a less sugar ginkgo barley (白果薏米). This level of customisation in a kopitiam surprised me ?they are selling some freshly made traditional kuih, of which I can’t take my eyes off from the bingka ubi behind the glass cabinet when I step in. Ordered bingka ubi as well as the kuih lompong, these are great! Sweetness level which is just nice. Bingka ubi comes with rich cassava flavour and you may even observed the residue ‘fibre’. Love the lompong most, fragrance from the gula Melaka and the savoury taste from the fresh desiccated coconut, like a heavenly match. This shop is right beside the main road, fret not (parking issue), there is a shop-lot-turned parking garage next to this kopitiam, though limited parking spaces.
