Lots of hawkers for you to choose from. Lots of tables (on the Saturday morning that I went) and not too hot too.. Reasonable prices, RM2 for kopi ais.

Good variety of local hawker food! Duck egg char koay teow and duck meat kway teow teng were so good! Authentic Penang hawker vibes too. Must come and try for yourself!

Highly recommend the kuih ketayap (rm1 a piece) the texture is chewy and elastic. The lam mee was very good as well, super umami broth a heartwarming bowl of noodles suitable for breakfast. The white curry mee was good but add ons were abit pricey. Highly recommend u go and try the food here, went on a Monday so there were tables available even during peak times.

If you can embrace the market smell, borderline cleanliness level and immerse yourself in the local street food vibe then you’ll definitely enjoy this place. The char kuey teow, duck noodle soup and siew yoke(roast pork) is awesome!

A very old traditional market easily 60/70 years. From makeshift to high roof, well ventilated building. Not grand but comfortably to walk in and shop. It has a few renovations since then. A food market is in annex. Many famous local street food in the building. Cheap and good.

My favourite spot when comes to food. Many underated and locals only priving here vs those overated and expensive in Georgetown. One of my favourite is the ?CKT. Have to wait atleast 15-20min here. Others equally popular is the duxk nooe with even longer que and the curry mee. I still prefer the CKT. Yet to try the curry mee

So many nice foods here! Love the Duck Meat Koay Teow Th'ng, Hokkien Lor Mee, Ham Chim Peng & Roast Pork. Never missed out Ambra Assam Boi! Will definitely come back for the famous Charcoal Char Koay Teow, Chinese Pasembur, Nyonya Kuih & many more!

Check out the food court here with many popular stalls. Everything is self service so you'll have to carry your bowl of noodles all the way to your own table. I was there on a Sunday morning, but quite a number of stalls were not open. Many kuih stalls near the entrance. Tried the Hokkien Mee which didn't really 'wow' me. The Lum Lai Duck Meat Koay Teow Th'ng stall is popular with the locals. Long queue but clears quickly. The Chulia St Curry Mee also had a long line, but it took too long, so I gave up. Surprising find for me was a nasi lemak sold by a granny at only RM2.50. Comes with fried fish and half an egg! Good sambal too.
