★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The variety of dishes (steamed egg with minced pork, fish curry, char shiu etc) here is pretty good and the number of customers that keep coming makes sure the food is always freshly cooked. I like their chicken curry and deep fried minced pork balls.
There is no signboard but I think it used to be called Mommy Wang restaurant.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I like this coffee shop which only have 1 stall and the only food u get here is economy rice. Open from 5pm. A lot of varieties. Almost all are delicious. Most important reason u should come here is cheap and really reflect "economy" rice. Usually 3 persons (each with 2 meat 2 vege and 1 soup) spending about RM20. This stall sold all authentic penang simple dishes from simple family. Not like nyonya food that usually cooked in more wealthy family in penang 1980s. 4 stars
It is located just opposite the Cecil market roasted pork stalls
