Primary schools are great! Experienced teachers. However secondary schools are definitely not the best. Not too much fun there:(

Dont believe the 5 stars -- mostly teachers (even coaches that have nothing to do with how many As or A stars students get in academics, which btw these achievements are because of OUTSIDE TUITION AND NOT BECAUSE OF THE SCHOOL THEMSELVES) probably forced by the school for damage control lol. Teachers also get the brunt from the terrible school. This is what happens when you try to put the school name and image above the sincere wellbeing of individual students. Don't waste your time and money here.

Decent facilities, overpriced disgusting food, schools are meant to be "non-profit" when it comes to food and stationaries but they are twice the price of regular food and stationaries I can get in a bookstore or mamak. Some teachers and staffs are quite good and generally have sympathy and care for students but some staff members are not as skilled and do not have the same amount of care. Students here are however quite nice and funny in my end but that is not because of the school. However, some students still misbehave quite badly and there are reports on quite serious matters I will not leak in behalf courtesy. Overall, Cempaka International School has high potential to be one of the best International Schools for Malaysia but have significant issues which causes it to be so low. As a student; I find this school decent at best at times and the only thing that is holding the 2 stars is the friends I have met.

To anyone who is deciding on studying here, don't. This school only cares about your grades more than you . I don't really know what is going on there right now in that school but what I have heard from my sibling is almost exactly the same when I graduated . To keep it short, I joined this school in 2008 , throughout 2009 to 2016 i was going through a rough period of my life and only a select few teachers actually helped me during this dark time in my life, but most of the teachers only recognized for the brat i was back in 2009 and some straight up didn't even like me for reason i don't even know and love to play favorites right enough of some people who were not all academically good. Bullying , toxic groups and higher ups who seem to care but don't really care. One of my friends was kicked out because one teacher didn't like him and by using her student who was a prefect to falsely accused my friend , kicking me out of the art studio even though i signed for arts and using not only me but students who aren't academically gifted a bad reputation.

The school is wonderful. It offers ample of opportunities and unique learning and working experiences. The students are well taught and very polite. The management is hands-on and very understanding. I’ve been to different schools and I love Cempaka. The IGCSE results for 2020/2021 are one of the highest in the country overall 58% A*s, 79% A*As,91% A*AB, well ahead of most other international schools. All IB students scored 40 points and above, of possible 45. Over 80% of A-level students scored A* or A.

The school facilities are pretty decent, but the school does not handle the well-being of the students. The cafeteria food is way too overpriced and the merchandise sold by the school is 2x the price of the original version. Some of the students there are nice and friendly, but some were rude. If you want to get counselling in the school, you have to go through a long process just to get a slot for an appointment, so it would be best if it was much more easier to get counselling. Overall the school is decent, but it's way too overpriced and the teacher and staff could improve in terms of the well-being of the students instead of just focusing on how their grades are doing.
