This place has very good reviews and is well known in Ipoh. I've tried it twice but was underwhelmed because there's not enough fragrance in the gula melaka. It's also quite pricey, starting at RM4.00. Cendol Mari in Gunung Rapat is better.

Been having cendol here since I was a kid, good childhood memory. It's still my favourite go-to spot for cendol in Ipoh. I like mine added with pulut for the extra kick, highly recommended especially you're a fan of glutinous rice. The coconut milk is fresh, creamy and tasty. Their cendol is not those thick type but they're smooth and soft. Although the shaved ice might not be as fine as what I've tasted in other places, I will still give five stars for the always-never-go-wrong sweetness (we request less ice most of the time, the sweetness is just nice). Uncle is still as friendly despite the hot weather and long queue.

Overall is fine but a bit of overrated. Rm5.5 for a bowl of cendol with red bean, corns and cendol. Pros: Cendol is soft, taste is ok. Cons: The amount of cendol, jagung and red bean are too less.

The Best Cendol I had in my entire life. The Santan is so thick with fresh cendol and the kacang merah is fresh. So far never tasted so good cendol. Have to queue long. Approximately 30 min queue. Try with the pulut. Highly recommended

It’s a road side store in front of a petrol station under the sun. Expected to queue if you are lucky enough to sees it open. As it sold out very fast and not open everyday. Will not open if it rains. The cendol comes with very generous amount of coconut milk, gula melaca, cendol and the huge soft red beans.

The cendol is awesome! One of best in Ipoh. Opens after 11am plus till finish. Be prepared for a long queue, and prepare for an umbrella as well for a hot sunny day. You can expect a very thick 'gula melaka' / syrup composition that's generally put over the shaved ice. The coconut milk is very rich, creamy and thick. Takeaway is slightly bigger portion with additional 50cents than eating / having there with 1 bowl RM4. Who can avoid a fresh cendol, fresh red bean, fresh pulut with very thick and creamy coconut milk.

The santan is thick and creamy and not water down, the gila melaka is tasty and not sour at the side of the tongue, don't mind eating it again
