โ โ โ โ โ agreed with steven comment above..pls dont buy centon brand worst type of warranty sales.claim warranty 2 years,but my storage water heater damaged after 1 year and 2 months..charges to be paid is rm 80 for diagnostic and another rm 120 for labour charge..only parts are free.do you think its worth to spend rm 200 for product worth rm 600 plus during warranty.decided to throw away the centon water heater and buy new one definately not centon anymore

โ โ โ โ โ PLS DON'T BUY CENTON WATER HEATER WITH RAIN SHOWERS, I bought on 04/10/2020. On 30/10/2020 the water heater suddenly trips while I just start bath less than 3 minutes, it trips and cause my whole house electricity off.After I switch on the water heater, it no longer have hot water, only have cold water even I turn to almost max of the temperature, such a lousy and bad quality of Centon brand and I feel got cheated.
In addition to that, I request their Centon technical to come over to my house and they say I need to agree with their clause that need to pay RM 55 or RM 80 if due to wiring and piping issue. The funny thing is the PIC keep suspect other things issue that cause that Centon heater faulty, and request me to AGREED to pay RM 55 or RM 88 then only they can arrange technician come to my house.
Please be aware of such Centon sales after service because the PIC told me they only have one technician guy who in charge of Klang valley sales after service and need to wait for 3days.
The clause state as follow if you still under warranty :-
Please note that there is a minimum diagnostic fee of RM55/unit that will be charged for house call servicing when
a) CUSTOMER DECIDES NOT TO REPAIR
Customer decides to take no further action after diagnosis and repair/replacement fees have been quoted.
b) NO FAULT WAS FOUND
Water heater was found to have no fault, and is in working order after diagnosis.
c) CONDITION NOT COVERED BY WARRANTY
Damange, deterioration or malfunction of the water heater is due to the
- Authorised alteration, modification or repairs
- Damages caused by external factor such as household pests, natural disaster, lighting, fire, abnormal voltage
- Conditions, power surges or residual dirt from incoming water supplies, or
- Incorrect installation or usages not in accordance with our Instruction Manual
Before purchase, I was told is good quality and long lasting, that why I bought in total RM 830 for Centon Water Heater with rain showers, after having issue on Centon Water Heater, Centon try shun responsibility by claiming wiring or piping issue.
PLS THINK TWICE ON CENTON WATER HEATER PRODUCTS BEFORE YOU BE A NEXT VICTIM LIKE ME .....
