I'm surprised that many people give this stall a good review. Think the Kuey teow goreng from the Indian Mama stall across the road tastes better. Perhaps people have not tasted the delicious char kuek teow from Penang and Singapore. Here, it's tasteless and expensive (by Malaysia standard). Portion is small too.

There are 3 stalls here - charkeowteow, yaucharkuih and 糖水stalls here. The BEST, BEST n BEST fried mee or kweoteow in Melaka. The chef is cooking efficiently, every cooking cycle is repeating perfectly with very simplify and efficiently...skill ley. The stall is tidy, clean and hygienically set up. All ingredients are place around systematically. No housefly around. The price is value for money or very worth it. The services are good and appropriate...sometimes a little rough. TASTY FOOD WILL COMPENSATE THE INCONVENIENCES.

One of the oldest and the best fried noodle in Melaka. The balancing of soy sauce and cooking style that represent Melaka Char Kuey Teow Once there was a cinema (聯邦電影院)opposite the stall, that's how it get its name.

It is just a stall on the sidewalk, after Mei Sin cafe is closed. Seating and tables are limited at best. So the five stars is for the taste experience alone and, on that note, the fried kueh teow is just superb with strong wok-heat and a generous amount of lard thrown in. Since it was after dinner, I had to order takeaway and, after a few hours inside an air-conditioned room, the noodles became lumpy and yet, the taste was still good. Imagine what it would be like if I had eaten it fresh from the wok. Service was okay.

It's great, light tasting fried kuay teow and noodles. I ordered the mix and it was awesome. Worth the slight wait. Highly recommended, even the locals order here and many even pre order takeaways. Note not many tables though.

Not sure if this stall is one of the best in melaka but it is not one of the best in my char kuey teow list do not expect a penang style char kuey teow considering the price of rm5 per packet and the taste i would definitely try again when i make my next visit to melaka

CKT is so so - the wok hei smelt really good, but that didn’t reflect in the taste. Be prepared to queue. The yao char kuey stall next to it was the bonus - everything was good! Crispy yao char kuey (even after cold), ham chin peng had just the right taste and filling (and I’m not a red bean lover).
