★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is an accommodation that is designed for families. There are three villas. Two with private pool that accommodates 8 adults and one without and can accommodate 4 adults. It is located across Sungai Chemperoh which is relatively clear and quiet by Janda Baik standards. Please note that we are strict about the capacity of the villa and day visitors without permission.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ With the private pool provided, its such a perfect place for family vacation, suitable for city people looking for a place to take it easy and chill for the weekend. The price is average, just like any other place in Janda for this kind of accommodation. The restaurant is quite far by walking, you need car to down. Road is quite narrow but is acceptable since location is at higher altitude. stay 2-3 days here is just perfect, but more than that it might get a little bit boring. Wifi connection is limited

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful place to stay with friends or family however they are strict with limits per house. BBQ pit will be provided if you'd like to have a bbq. Poor phone reception but they provide wifi and there is also netflix & youtube to watch. Villa 3 are not house like villa but instead its rooms and dining are separated which is a bit of downside but Overall it is a very nice place to stay with a very serene ambience.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Charis has been my family's annual GoTo spot, our Home Away From Home. It's Villa's are clean and tidy. We normally book at least 2 Villas at a time, and it offers the family the space we need to feel relaxed.
Charis is well managed and maintained. The pools are clean, the kitchens are clean, the rooms are clean, the gardens are clean. Once you step into this place, I assure you, your body will automatically start to feel relieved and the R&R process begins...
Charis has access to a very clear and clean river, just outside the main gate. It's cool, crystal running waters constantly flows and washes away our weariness everytime we take a dip in it.
Being just 10 mins away from the nearest convenience store and restaurants, it is always a breeze to restock on food and drinks anytime. Local Restaurants are also available, just seek help from their very friendly Service Manager if required.
Just up the road is a Dusun Durian, and in the Durian Season, this place is a heaven.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It was a nice trip and the villa was exquisite which built next to a clear river. However, the cleanliness is very poor. It was apparent that the floor wasn't mopped and thus not sanitised. The kitchen utensils were oily and the air fryer wasn't cleaned with food residue inside it. The fridge is not well maintained. There were insects in the villa, even if we sprayed them they'll come back again.
There were also a family of cats at the compound area of the place and tried to enter our villa whenever we open the door. They also caused a safety hazard as they were circling our legs when we BBQed outside that cause one of us to trip. I'm absolutely okay with cats but having cats around the place is inappropriate.
This place could've easily gotten a five star review. With a dope TV and netflix, big private pool, the ambience of the place and many activities available. But the management spoiled our experience staying there and cleanliness shouldn't be slacked off especially in hospitality business.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice accommodation for a quick family vacation from KL for our family of seven. The unit we had had a nice private pool. No restaurants in the premise but the kitchen is complete enough for self cooking. They even provided charcoal and bbq pit for family bbq. We did that for one day by the river. There are a few restaurants 2km away and some will able to deliver but we just drove out most of the time. The river is across the road from the villa compound. Not too big but good enough to swim in the deeper 3 feet end. Unlike the other locations in Janda Baik which is murky, the Chemperoh river here is still very clear. Good internet with facilities such as Netflix. The children liked that but I would rather chill by the river and the pool.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Charis Pool Villas to me was an exclusive experience.It's surrounded by greenery and beautiful small river flows through it, there is also a bigger river that flows right in front of the villas full of boulders that is an awesome view. The river water is always flowing downwards from the mountain range.For those who loved the outdoors & rugged jungle experience there is a jungle trekking that leads from the villas towards the mountain range.There are three ATV (all terrain vehicles) available at the villas. There is also a biking trek available across the river. Apart from that the rooms facilities are of 5 star ratings. I will not hesitate to comeback again.Thank you.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wonderful place to chill and unwind. Such a short distance from the city, a true gem of a find. The stream right outside the villa was gorgeous. The spacious villa across all rooms was a dream come true. I could see us going there again soon, absolutely stunning place and a gracious staff waited at our villa to invite us in and show us the ropes of what was a memorable 2 nights for us. 100% recommended. The place was clean albeit insects and ants which did not bother us at all because it's part of nature as its intended. Thank you for having us!
