★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The key point is variety. The owner is smart enough to display nicely packed herbs. That makes customers go around and tempted to buy almost as many things as they could. Price tag I would say 10% higher, but with fair quality depends what you buy.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nicely stacked shelf of herbs, chinese medicines, teas, oinment in an air conditioned setting which made it quite comfortable to browse through & take your pick.
Very friendly owner (older lady) which made it a pleasant experience to shop there.
There is a younger lady who was chopping up chinese herbs who looked like a family member should learn how to smile, if not put her at the back of the shop. She put people off shopping here!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Bought some herbs here and requested for it to be cut up, saw the worker cutting it drop it on the floor and quickly pick it back up and put it in the pile without a word. When we told the boss lady, she defensively told us "we shouldn't worry about the hygiene, after all when the herbs come from China there's NO GUARANTEE ON QUALITY and it could already be contaminated". Oh wow, buy at your own risk.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I do not recommend to purchase from this seller. Bought dried scallops via Shopee and the product that came was not fresh. I have it returned and was expecting a refund as agreed with seller. However, its been almost a month now, and no refund was received despite multiple follow ups. Was told by the seller that he/she would 'remind the boss'. I am not sure whether the seller intends to refund me at all at this point of time! Will not purchase again. Absolutely deserve zero star for its lousy customer service.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ An old established medical hall but had undergone full renovation to render ease of shopping and great convenience to the customers. Had been shopping in this outlet since years ago...
Situated at a very good location and few shops away from the famed Toh Soon Cafe and Asia Batik. Despite the new look, price of the products sold therein were very reasonable. And great service by the assistants too...
And the products sold....including the century old items as per pictures.
