โ โ โ โ โ Can't say this is one of the best nasi kandar in Penang since I haven't taste all NK there yet but definitely Hameediyah is worth every ringgit and queuing time.
I took a combo of ayam bawang, sotong kari, telur sotong, bendi, telur asin and kuah campur. The kuah campur is on the spicy side, enough to make my scalp sweating. The ayam bawang is excellent, crispy skin and the sauce is sweet. Sotong kari is ok, a little bit chewy. Telur sotong excellent.
Price wise, it's ok. Not cheap nor expensive, depend on what you eat. Peace!

โ โ โ โ โ Went to this place after consulting my Penang friend. We went there after maghrib and there's a long Q outside. But we didn't have to wait very long and after less than 15 minutes we get to order it
We had lamb shank, chicken and huge squid to go with the biryani.
The "kuah" is authentic, when you had nasi kandar make sure to get "kuah campur" (mixed gravy) to go with the rice.
The giant squid is a bit chewy (nature of that huge squid maybe). Other than that everything else is superb.
Service is tip top and the place is clean. Highly recommended.

โ โ โ โ โ Had to wait for an hour. Understandable if the restaurant was full. When we finally were allowed in, made our order and led to the upstairs dining area, it turned out that there were a few tables that were vacant. There was obviously a lack of communication between the staff at the upstairs dining area and those downstairs who were managing the diners coming in.
The food - we had biryani ayam madu with squid egg and fish egg and okra - was great! But made me sleepy for the rest of the day. ?

โ โ โ โ โ Long queue and it took us about 1 hour 30 minutes before can get into the restaurant. The nasi with big prawn cost about RM35 and tasted delicious. The ayam goreng however nothing extraordinary compared to Kassim Mustafa. Maybe becoz dehydrated, I've lost my appetite...?. Can only finished half of my nasi

โ โ โ โ โ Great food but you will need to line up of course. Get a table upstairs and get someone to line up and order. Best dishes for me were the ayam goreng, beef rendang and sotong. 4 stars because it'd be nice to eat it hot.

โ โ โ โ โ As an indulgence, once in a while, don't mind the long queue and price as a rice dish. Taste is always as expected (heavy) but will always pick them for the variety they offer. Can't complain and will drop by, once in a while.

โ โ โ โ โ I visit last 2 weeks ago because of the review. The dish is super nice. The staff and bos are friendly. I took kambing, vegetable, and fried chicken (anyway the chicken is cold, if they fried and served immediately is the best)
Must ask them to mix up all the sauce in the dish for you. It is super nice!

โ โ โ โ โ Queue seemed quite long when we arrived around 2.30 pm but we only waited about 20 minutes. I think they should have more signage to tell customers what to do so the process can be easier. There was only one waiter upstairs in the seating area so it was quite difficult to get his attention. Food is definitely delicious but seems quite expensive to me, for example I got 3 pieces of beef rendang which cost Rm12 and one piece of fried chicken was Rm8. Lamb shank (Rm 45) and big squid (Rm 30) were standouts for me. Enjoyable, tasty lunch but expect to pay quite a bit for it.
