★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Fried lala is very nice. fried sambal sweet potato shoots, bak kut teh are nice. Char hu (fried fish) is not up to our expectation as we have tasted nicer one at other place (in Jitra).

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Delicious fried fish dish, it’s the speciality here at this restaurant in Alor Setar, they have a few types of fishes to offer , red snapper, grouper etc .
Fried lala is also good and can order with your fried fish
Bak kut teh is also ok here , their waiting service could be a bit curt though.

- order will be taken at table by waiter
- known for their char huu (stir fry fish meat) - watch out for bones, bakuteh (flavourful broth), stir fry vegetables esp potato shoots with sambal and prawns.
- below items with drinks and single rice serving each for 2 cost about rm 45
- parking may be an issue if u arrive during peak hours
- opened morning until 4pm
- dining in available / takeaway too
- long standing restaurant at least 20-30 years in old town Alor Setar and survived throughout the years.
- recommended for lunch

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Came here because heard of good reviews regarding this place. Personally felt it is overrated. Place is crowded during lunch hour hence person taking orders is slightly impatient. Not much of options available. Price is slightly high. There are other better options available. Good try but will not return.
