★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Pretty nice old restaurant in Alor Star - stopped by alone so decided to go for the "chap fun" with their signature Curry Chicken with Potatoes and Tau Eu Bak (braised pork in soya sauce).
Food is nice - gives you that grandma cooking flavor. Wished I had few more friends with me so that we could have enjoyed more dishes to give a better review of this place.
Parking can be an hassle for this place

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Traditional charcoal home cooked restaurant. Downstairs is quite stuffy as the cooking is behind the shop. Air con is available upstairs. Fish was fresh & meaty, but sauce slightly too sour. Tofu & sambal is not too bad. Portion are not too big.
