★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Not sure where to go for nice claypot Lou Shi Fun but this is the one I vividly remember from my childhood days. Decent taste beats any shops selling this in Penang ?? Service is standard.
There’s a paid parking nearby for rm10/entry, alternatively you may try parking nearby but limited spaces. Parking at Pasar Seni carpark will require some walking (~7mins) thru Petaling Street.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The experience was a little miserable.
Food items came hot but it was mostly a heap of soy-based saltiness. It was frankly hard to eat much of it due to the overpowering salty flavours. This applies to the claypot mee tai mak, pork noodles and yee mee.
Granted that it’s a touristy spot, the quality doesn’t quite match up to its price tag.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It is an old chinese restaurant. There is not much people in the store by the time i visit. They also serve some chinese food that you would expect in any chinese restaurant.
I have ordered their hokkien mee. It is very delicious. After adding one tablespoon of their belacan, it is very delicious. All the flavor of the hokkien is bring out with a little spicy taste.
I didnt order their signature lau shu fun but their hokkien mee is very good.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Fast services, good food, and crowded with visitors. They served Chinese food both halal or non-halal. Many visitors are locals, it means that even without tourists this place always crowded. Located in very strategic, in the roadside. Make sure to try theirs while visiting Petaling Street in Chinatown. A little bit pricey but worth the taste and its meal's portion ?.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Claypot Pearl Noodles, Special Fried Pork Intestines, Golden Savoury Bamboo Clam, Gong Bao Prawn Paste. A visit to Chinatown (Petaling Street) will inevitably include a stopover at KL Hokkien Mee or this underrated pearl noodles. The fried pork intestines is a must order if you like offals.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The must try dish at the Chinatown as mentioned from my friends. Me and my mum ordered a famous Craypot noodle and a plate of vegetable. I have never had this food before, so exciting to the tastes. Good experience to the traditional foods and shoppers.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I went there on a Friday night, so it was quite surprising for me to get table as soon as i reached there, given how overwhelming the queue can be (based on some ig post and reviews). However, the wait for them to take my order is very frustrating. We sat outdoor by the roadside and we kept calling the waitresses to take our order for 20 minutes but they kept ignoring us. Food came 5 minutes after order was taken so it wasn’t too bad.
As for the food, it was rather small portion for a RM20 priced stir fry intestines, but they are quite generous with the baby shrimps and garlic, and taste wise was satisfying too. For claypot loushufun nothing to shout out about, but it wasn’t bad either.
When paying our bills, the waitress overcharged our bill without confirmation the portion with us, i had to reconfirm the price because it was way expensive than what I had in my stomach. They then only recounted the bill after i called them out.
Overall experience was okay but the services really threw me off.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ordered the lao shu fen (老鼠粉)- taste not bad, but i feel like the claypot is a bit unnecessary as it tastes just as the same as those cooked without claypot.
Fried rice- well erm it is just a basic fried rice, just basic one, taste normal. Bit dry and taste like ajinomoto.
