β β β β β Old time Hainanese chicken rice (since 1938). Famous for their white chicken, but I usually order the roasted one. Food is ok, but I think my tastebuds prefer Sattelite Chicken in Jalan Gasing. The shop also serves a nice salted vegetables side dish. My opinion? Will eat there if I'm around area but won't drive there just for it.

β β β β β I was surprised that the Sri Hartamas outlet was closed down. After calling Jalan Sultan to confirm that they closed at 3pm, I told the caller I'm on my way to their outlet.
I drove as fast as I can in traffic and used Waze to get the fastest and shortest toll highway. I parked inside the hotel opposite the outlet. The time was 2.35pm. To my horror, the guy with spectacles told me they are closed. I showed him the time.
You know I'm coming from so far away. Why can't you tell me you will close early? Why can't you tell me that you have no chicken left? You wasted my petrol, my toll charges, my effort, my money and my support to you as a long time customer!
I want to give 0 Star β to you for lousy experience and treatment. I AM NOT COMING BACK FOR GOOD!

β β β β β If you're looking for some of the most tender, juicy, moist chicken you'll ever eat then come here.
Superb food, friendly service and attentive and fast. The soup although it looks very plain and boring is packed with flavour, the chilli and ginger sauces are great! A fantastic lunch spot!!!

β β β β β I ordered a Char Siew rice and it costed 10.45 , I couldn't believe it. The Char Siew is also too sweet and the soup tasted like it was just water.
Not recommended!

β β β β β Grew up eating this legendary chicken rice (pak zam gai), it's still tender and juicy. The soy sauce that came together tastes really good, it accentuates the savour of the chicken.

β β β β β 3.5 rounded down, the chicken wasnβt moist and tender enough nor was it very tasty. Lots of the taste came from like sauce on the side. By 2:30pm on a Sunday they were out of poached chicken and village chicken.
Nothing special of a chicken rice
Parking around here is a pain in the a$$
Pork was juicy and tasty tho
RM12 for bbq pork + roast chicken + Chinese iced tea + hot broth soup

β β β β β For an establishment that has started way back in 1938 the meal today was really disappointing; it was a first time that I did not want to continue eating a chicken rice and char siu. Something is just not right...I have eaten countless known & nameless chicken rice; the chicken here is really mediocre...it was tasteless..."lifeless"; a random chicken rice store would fare better. Just really disaappointed.
