25rm travel adaptors with 2x usb slots are a must buy here- very handy and cheaper than most places.

β β β β β I was able to sleep there (despite the couple in the room opposite), the staff were friendly and location was good but everything else was poor, especially the WiFi. It was barely working and I wanted to use it to book somewhere else.

β β β β β The common area exists, but it feels more like a waiting room. The rooms are stiflingly hot, and I'm writing this in January. There is no vibe here at all, but the staff is very competent and the location is good.

β β β β β Not luxurious, the rooms are not great but the place is competently run and quite cheap. The surrounding area (Chinatown) is also extremely cheap to eat in. Not a bad location to see this part of KL, from what I've heard there are better deals elsewhere though.

Wifi is strong and fast at night.
Can speak in English.
People are friendly.
but shower room sometimes no water at all. It's just rent a bed only at backpacker inn.

β β β β β A cheap hostel in Kuala Lumpur's Chinatown. There are air conditioned rooms however they only run at night. Common area consists of a couch and.. That's it. The staff understand English but don't communicate very well. You have to buy toilet paper, and they also sell beer and water and travel accessories. As far as the wifi goes, I had no problems whatsoever while using it for web browsing. Bathrooms were fine, they had regular toilets with the shower heads built into the wall. Location is great though, five minute walk from the train station, lots of cheap street food and the Chinatown market is worth a visit. Overall this is a good hostel for the price, I would recommend for any backpacker travelling on a budget.

β β β β β Both we (me and my partner) booked for some leg massage, something good. I had a knee pain on my left leg, after receiving the massage now i feel better.
The lady experienced and good touch... Prices also affortable.

β β β β β As a lone female traveler, I greatly appreciated the kind and helpful staff here (who happen to keep vigilant watch on the security cameras). Whether I was looking for sites to explore, in need of charging my phone after my cable broke, or searching for the best place to drink tea, they went out of their way to help me. The manager even paused his conversation with a worker to escort me outside and onto the next street to give me suggestions for tea.
Accommodations are not fancy (I wasn't a fan of concrete), but they were clean and had all I needed for a few nights' stay -including excellent Wifi. Although the bathrooms were shared, one was always available when I needed it.
I poked my head into several hostels on the same street before choosing this one. I found it to be the most affordable without compromising on cleanliness or sense of security and privacy.
